Love to hear the feedback Jamie! We are really excited to be a part of LRP's future, and cant wait for the Proving Grounds to get their FCP Euro Blue curbing in place for an even bigger change of the course .
@@fcpeuro the blue curbing sounds cool. I just hope it isn't raised curbing since one of the attractions of the autocross track is that you can push the car very hard with little ramifications if you run off the track!
I started doing autocross at the end of last year and this year I've been on it numerous times. From what I was told is that I have taken the largest vehicle out there and proved that you can legitimately can bring anything out there. I own a 2000 chevy suburban ls and within the past year this track helped me build the ultimate circuit/autocross track SUV, off-roader and daily driver by helping me find all the flaws it had and it helped me improve suspension, tire size, brake system, engine performance etc. I also may have started a challenge at autocross events because other SUV and truck owners now want to come out and see what their vehicles are capable of. I also plan on working for LRP this year and maybe start up some new events if possible which may bring in a new audience.
Love what you have done there BUT! Can you please put an apron over by the gazebo going down the little bit of road left into the camping area by the uphill? I really dont want to have to buy parts from you just because you left a giant drop off.
Why go in the opposite direction [anti-clockwise] in contrast to the old layout? Even with the skidpad connectors, clockwise works. Now what used to be an absolute hoot of a delicate throttle control, short uphill left hander has been reduced to a…braking zone? I’m referring to the left hand connector from the lower “kidney” to the upper one per the old clockwise direction of travel..
Great job! Even the old track is soo much better with the paving and grading. Can't wait to get back up there and experience more with the full configuration. And curbing coming!! I also note that you're running it counter clockwise. Last Thursday we ran clockwise. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XZH-gL88Nb8.html Ability to run both directions gives even more variety. Bravo. My only suggestion is to build up the ground on either side of the access way so that low cars can pull off onto the grassy area. But I'm sure you know that and it will be coming with the rest of the goodness. The improvement and expansion of the proving grounds will be great for a great venue. Thanks!
