Wow I guess I sold my V right on time. Ready for this one. I agree with your suggestions. The headphone jack really wasn't a big deal to me but it was annoying in the beginning. Great video as usual.
Realistically speaking, if they announce the camera on the 20th of Feb, when is it likely to go on pre order/come out? Should I look to sell my x100v now so I can get as much value out of the sale as possible? Or will that mean I end up sitting around for potentially 6 months before I get my hands on the new one. (Not saying you'll know but you might have better knowledge than most around announce dates + when they're actually released), cheers!
I imagine demand will be really high for the new one. If you don't mind being without a camera for a while then I don't see any problem with trying to get the most out of selling your current V.
All this X100R for “Roku” (6) floating around, but yet the “V” in the X100V doesn’t represent “Go” (5) I wouldn’t be surprised if all this hype is actually going be a new X-Pro series. The X100V doesn’t even need a refresh
@@karlbratby4349 Right? Concidering that the “X100V” is damn near perfect for that format and that the X-Pro3 kind of had enough problems because of the screen, though I love mine. Since the start of the X-Pro line, serious photogs have really enjoyed the range finder and sales showed it. I’m not sure I would appreciate a larger body with a larger battery, but that is my main concern when shooting with 5 extra batteries to constantly keep up on.
@@danielbuergo to incorporate the new battery im sure wont make it that much bigger, bring back a tilt screen, give it a new processor to have a new AF system and a MUCH better EVFand job done.
The things I want just aren’t gonna happen . I wanted the xh2s af with the same sensor . I’ve owned the xt5 and the af that camera has altho faster isn’t confident and jumps around a lot. Also a new lens would be nice becauee both me and you know the speed of the v is crippled by that lens . But nope they are gonna keep it the same . Bigger battery would be nice and that may happen . Ibis is cool but I don’t need it personally.
it needs a far better EVF and even maybe a version for left eye shooters as its a pain in the ass covering camera almost entirely with face. button placement is naf to so better ergonomics would be great as would be a little snappier in all respects but then my xt5 and xh2s is slow in some respects EG image review compared to others is sloooowww, and NO it does not need a 40mp. more MP is not always better
If you get upset whenever a new version of a product comes out you'll never enjoy and give proper value to the gear you buy. It's up to you if you want to approach owning a camera as a scalper or as someone who actually takes photographs and buys their gear for what they offer.
