I love your videos. I'm Downunder and occasionally features are not quite the same, but I can often find a work around. This video was timely as I've have only today swapped to the new calendar. Jamie, I have a suggestion: I really enjoyed the way you have integrated your self in the video. But when you are working on your screen, for example in this video if you were doing something on the right corner of the calendar your eyes go to the opposite direction. Suggestion is that if you flip your video and then integrate it with the background it will make you look in the same direction that you are working on your screen.

Do you have a video on creating Google Calendar Groups? I need to create 3 or 4 separate groups to send out google invites and staff an event from time to time. I can't find a tutorial on how to create different groups. So I can invite certain groups and not the others. Tutorials say to use your groups but I cannot find out how to create them. When I try to create a group it says: emails are outside of our network. And then it won’t let us create the group. Help!

Thanks for a very informative video. I love everything about the new calendar other than there seeming not to be an option to specify work hours, show only 8 am to 7 pm, for example... Am I missing something??

Hey Karen You can set your own time on the calendar home page example 8 pm to 5 am. You can switch back to our previous version calendar (Classic Version) go in setting ---> Labs ---> Hide morning and night -----> Enable ----> Save then use slider to hide the hours which you want to see in the calendar. Hope this solution will help you. Let me know if any other concern.

When I schedule a reminder for an event 15mins prior to the meeting. Will the alert/reminder be sent to people I've invited or just me? In the past, the old Google Calendar was not able to do this.

I believe the reminders will be up to each person the calendar is shared with to set their notifications.

Is there a way to FILTER EVENT CATEGORIES BY COLOR without creating a new calendar for that category? ONE CALENDAR with event color coding that I can filter to see ONLY THE GREEN CODED EVENTS vs. RED CODED on that SAME CALENDAR? I don't see the option to add a quick event directly say, 5pm Remember to Call Doctor, which adds this event at 5pm. Am I missing anything?

Can someone explain to me why I cannot see ''30 minuted increments" anymore on the left vertical column with time slots? It shows only hours now, like 8am, 9am, 10am, 11am, 12pm, 1pm...etc., and before it was an option to see 30 minutes in between hours like 8am, 30min, 9am, 30min, 10am, 30min, 11am, 30min, etc... It disappeared on January 3rd, 2018 and i cannot find that option anymore. Does anyone know how to enable it back? Thanks

hii, when i created 3 events i used 3 different colours when i shared them, the receiver was not able to see the event in different colours that i used in my calender. how can the receiver see these events in different colours? Please reply and help.

The "Use new calendar" option is not there nor is it in settings.

It is getting rolled out to all accounts. In the video I'm using my personal account, G Suite Apps and Education accounts should be rolled out Nov. 15.
