Dont know why some people are complaining about clunkiness of his kit or incomplete combos. Think about mirana think about sf, so many heroes in dota have incomplete kits it's a key part of the hero design and balance. I think all of his abilites are quite unique and interesting, the hero model is quite detailed and well done, and the trickets he gets are something cool we've never seen before. What a slap in the face to the devs to say he "feels rushed, clunky, or incomplete" after they clearly spent a long time trying to get him right. It seems intuitive to me that they wouldn't give him a facet or aghs yet as he needs to have time to find his place in the meta before they try to give him alternative playstyles or viable positions with those. Besides taking far longer than expected to release I think the devs did quite a good job. Yet for some reason people seem so quick to try to shit on everything the devs do recently. It's not good for the game.
FELLERS there's a reason after a trillion years of the game we all love (including Dota1), there have been ONLY TWO heroes, OD and Shadow Demon, who have in their basic ability kit a spell that banishes an ally and protects it from literally everything for a couple secs-until now that is! Everyone else with such powerful saves (Muerta, Undying, Pudge, & to an extent Phoenix) all need Shards or Aghs to be able to do the same thing. Ringmaster's "clunkiest" spell seems to be the dagger throw bec. it can hit a non-hero unit and be entirely useless, but everything else is god-tier!! His ult, needing only .5 secs to be an AOE TAUNT like Axe Call, can set up for way more than ppl. realize. Srsly put Ringmaster in the hands of dangerous killers like XinQ, Cr1t, Mira, t0fu, Tims, etc. and just watch his numbers get unreasonably nerfed.
It also makes you invulnerable for 0.2 sec so you can dodge most of the targeted spells. Pretty strong considering monkey mischief only grants you damage immunity.
I am happy that the hero they designed feels like a designated support. No spell that scales with attack damage or procs on-hit effects. Not like Hoodwink... or Dawnbreaker... or Dark Willow, Mars, Monkey King, Pangolier, Marci, Snapfire, and Void Spirit. I don't know why Valve seem insistent that all their new heroes can be played in every role. Their design philosophy is whack.
@@floreaciprian9742 long enough stuns in general but then everybody need to be facing the same way, with stuns and axe it would be a little bit more difficult to do.
Ringmaster best mid build: (pregame) tango, circlet, mantle of Intelligence -START GAME-finish item, bottle, normal boots, whiches blade, kaya, boots stage 2, finish kaya and yasha, shards, other situnational
This hero is the ultimate treant counter in lane, max health daggers (beats treants high hp), can scout the tree line with q and e, if treant uses his slows he can just escape act out of it (full slow resistance and alot of magic resist), since treant is melee with no stuns he can channel a full whip if he tries to trade.
The fact the DotA2 devs have not added Aghanim after creating his entire move set and character model for arguably the best minigame they've ever created, only to throw it all away, is both baffling and bothering. He's so much cooler than this weirdo that looks like he's from a different video game or that weird little homage to furries. Why not Aghanim? Why?! Compared to Aghanim this character sux.
not a single hero added post 7.00 has had aghanims on launch. this is the first hero after facet update, it's more surprising that they do have a shard for him
