Parent being blinded by blood and love for his daughter + nepotism + excessive pampering and spoiling = a very toxic combination. When mom or dad refuses to discipline their child and spoils them excessively, the end result-- a world class brat... 🙄

I used to be treated like this when two managers would team up against me when I would allow them to overwork me so today I’m glad I’m not working there because now that place gets a bad rep so it reinforces my decision of me quitting

Part two is needed with the manager and his daughter going bankrupt and also eventually broke and homeless which makes them reflect on their actions regarding how they've been treating others in the past

Can't wait for ex-barista workers to post bad and poor reviews on Yelp, Google Reviews and Facebook about their cafe and we'll warn everybody NOT to work for this unprofessional boss and his daughter. Their cafe will receive one star by rating number one. Everybody will see it so they will know.

She should have picked up the clear signs from the start and backed out instantly - the way he was conducting the interview - suttly rude, sarcastic and condescending but she was very direct, strong and took the exit sooner than soon.... Kudos to her

My add on: After Maya quit her job, she found a new job at a different cafe where everyone in the staff is treated with the integrity they deserve. After word got out about how Alice and her father were running things at their cafe, all of the staff members quit and no customers came in, which led to their cafe going out of business. They were able to find other jobs, but Alice’s job was being a maid, and her father’s job was being a janitor.

There were so many red flags. For example the father was bad mouthing the other employee. And its not the baritas responsibility to do your homework. Like father like daughter. And the daughter should have introduced herself. And if the manager was bad mouthing his employee i would have never have taken the job

Dad was responsible for pampering Alice too much, it let her to have too much power!! Life humbled her, making her apply for a job!!! Little would she know was that Maya would have a bratty boss in the employer's daughter!!! She did reference her last job, but how to get past that level of toxicity without need to quit!!! Time will tell, who is humble and who is bratty!! Hold on!!!

Nobody would put up with that unless maybe if they were paying alot of money but especially the way the treat the employees it wasn't good. if his Daughter needed an assistant then he should have hired a seperate person for that but they are trying to be slick and get away with paying for one job and using for something else.

Wow, this is the first time where we see two villains in this video and the Asian girl telling off the boss and his daughter! I'm glad she quit! Also, I feel like the boss, who is the daughter's dad, spoiled her which the reason why the boss and the daughter are so rude and unprofessional.

I had a manager like that. He would yell at and insult the employees in front of the customers. There was girl there for 2 weeks because he made her cry when she made small mistake, if someone quit he tried to have them pay money for theft they didn’t commit, he changed everybody’s schedule, and spend all day in the office eating Rice Krispie treats and then get mad when work wasn’t done. By the time corporate furd him there were no employees left and customers stopped coming. It’s better now but that store took a pounding. 0:02

I gave this a like but I don’t understand the purpose because there was no consequences for the father and daughter. They didn’t learn anything about their behavior. I’m a little let down.

Unfortunately, that's reality. Some people are just too stubborn and arrogant to learn. As for consequences, I'm sure they'll eventually close down if their attitudes never change.
