Thanks for the review and I really like the idea of a treble boost. We'll see what we can do in the future. As for the cable: it's certified up to 10,000 full bends + 2 year warranty. Considering adding Qi in the future. Thx much
Another thing to consider, if you plan to stick with the tiny built-in charging cable, would be to include with the product a longer length USB extension cable.
I think this cable is better than a soldered in usb port. I have had so many phones and b/t speakers usb ports come loose. I have only just bought the airs, but they are mint. Great sound for something so small. Pretty comfy. I did an unplanned range test yesterday, i left my phone in my kitchen and walked out to my detached garage (20 meters away) with my airs playing, signal dropped out for a split second when i was at the back of the garage turning my drier on. But came back fine whilst sorting out some tools. (There were 2 solid brick walls between my phone and my Jlabs!!)
I just bought these for my dad's birthday... I'll give it to him when he gets back from work Edit: He actually liked them the only complaint from him was they were a little bit heavy in HIS ears (when I tried them they were okay) but other than that he said that these are really good quality headphones
I just bought these and they are amazing but I think my ears are to small for them. Idk right now I’m messing with the sizing and all. These are really amazing though!! Edit: I ended up returning them because my ears were to small. They fell out when I was running and it was just annoying. These have amazing features and good quality!! Still worth the money.
I'm glad to see the improvements made but I wasn't crazy about the sound of the first model so if these sound the same, I'll pass and get the Creative Outliers you reviewed. Great video as always.
Someone please help… i got them yesterday and they have a static noice when they need to play a sound. If i open reddit they will be quiet and when a video comes up or sth they start hissing and you hear that static noice. This happens on all apps anyone got a tip/fix/experience?
The built-in charging cable was nothing more than a cost saving measure, not an end-user convenience. They saved production costs not only by eliminating the need for a USB connector on the charging case by hardwiring the (very short!) built-in cable to the device's circuit board, but also, by eliminating the need to supply a proper full length charging cable with the product. A Win-Win for the manufacturer, but the end-user will most likely want to buy a female-to-male USB extension cable to make it a reasonable length. And as Gamesky mentioned in the review, if anything happens to the tiny cable's connection to the charging case, the Jbuds will become non-rechargeable and useless.
Agreed, it is way too short, not to mention it's a dealbreaker if you are willing to invest in a full-on USB Type C (I mean USB PD, not just Type C to Type A). I'd prefer having a USB Type C port especially if it supports PD, even if that costs more to make.
Random, but does anyone know what that little clock screen is behind him on the desk ? (Over his right shoulder) looks dope I want one 😂❤ great review BTW too just bought a pair after watching this
My Air's just broke and I loved those and was debating on what to get next, now I know what. Love the fact they did those updates to make an even better pair of wireless headphones.
All the TWS earbuds either had sound/ controls/old BT/design and ergonomics/case/price issues that stopped me from buying them. Seems like I finally found something that is suitable for me.

You answered the question I had about being able to take calls with either earbud... With the original ones I was about to take a shower with them in, and I work outside and was caught in the rain and they still worked perfect with no problem... So I'm pretty sure you can do the same with these as far as water resistant goes or am I wrong...
I’m sorry but I think these could be way better. They are just way too low on volume and it does terrible at noise isolation. If you are into loud volume, do not get these because they are just too quiet in my opinion
Sabbat E12's blow it out of the competition but if you don't wanna fork over $100. Then these are the perfect alternative to get and they sound really great. Use the cloud foam tips.
You have blessed us with so many worthy contenders. I cannot wait to your end of the year round up for the king of the hill. My cash is anxiously awaiting that moment.
Can you check Earfun Free Earbuds at $40 from Amazon and compare these to JLab JBuds Air Icon True Wireless Earbuds? I'm confused about which one to buy...The Earfun have USB-C & Qi Wireless Charging while Jlabs have the stereo calling and dual pairing...Please help, It'll be appreciated.
Good review, ok my only complaint on these is they should include some fins to help stabilize them in the ear, not what they provided, like jaybird vista fins
Save your money and buy somthing better. The call sound quality on these are garbage. And they do not go loud.On the bass setting it sounds muffled and muddy af.And on the other eq settings. It sound like medium volume at best.I would not recommend these to anyone.I'm returning mine tomorrow.I'd rather have some wired earbuds that you can actually hear. When listening to music or taking a call.
Thanks for this one too. I watched your previous JLabs JBuds Air, bought it, and it turned out to be a great gift. Now, I'ma buy this for myself. Thanks a lot! Keep up with your great reviews!
I bought these at Christmas for 30 bucks as a backup here for when I lose my old ones. I was used to pressing the button 2 paws. I can't get this tap thing to work.
Does this have the smart feature where you take off the earbud AMD it will pause the music? Also if i wear just one And keep the other in the pocket, will ther one in the pocket be off? So basically i could double the amount of play time?
Guys.....I have gone through about 10 earbuds within the last month or so. This includes the new Sony’s WF 100MX3’s, and several others. These are absolutely AMAZING. Just got them in as I pre-ordered them. I’m blown away right now.....for $60?!?!? Wooow.....thank you for the review and saving me cash 😉
Are they actually good? Im afraid because seeing so many good stuff in the comments it just seems so fake... I don't know if everyone here is just fake bots or something
I should understand that the mic test sounds bad is because i constantly listening to a recording mic for the majority time of the video. that becomes an unintended comparison to the mic quality.
Which is worth it, the New Icon Jlabs or 1more stylish TWS? I got the 1mores on Prime day for only $69. Still have time to return, if the Jlab JBuds Air Icons are good. I loved the first generation. Thank you
Buenas tengo una duda, Son unos jlab jbuds air executive true negros los que tengo, se escucha como interferencia o aveces se desconectan uno del otro y solo se escucha 1, no sé que hacer, algo que me puedan decir o ayudar?
I wanted to update my Jlab earbuds to this version but since the ANC just came out and on sale for $36 omg it’s a huge upgrade the Battery last last you all day no need to recharge like the old version only last 3 hours .
I got a sabbat e12 after edging on buying these JayLabs buds. And I have to say , I dont regret it ONE BIT !! They're an all-round killer. The bass is the best part (really strong punchy bass)
@@Just__nandoo The bass is definitely better than the powerboats which sounds overpowered and forced. The Sabbat has amazing bass along with good mids and highs too.
@@Karthik_K Not at all bro. The only issue I've found with these pairs are that, once in a blue moon, the right bud cuts out but not more than a second, so it's never been a bother to me
I had the first one, they are great and I really love the signature, but then I I got an email a week later from them that a 2nd version was coming with 3hrs more, so I return them immediately to Best Buy. Can wait to get this again.
I have a couple of those to do. I generally dont cover them as much because people dont seem as interested in those videos because of true wireless earbuds
I was really hoping you could do one of them because I recently bought the Sony WI-something for 30$. I was satisfied with it, but I was looking to get more bang for my buck. I get it tho truly wireless is what's popular.
Creative outlier air and earfun free both use type c charging. The creative are 80 and the earfun are 50 both on amazon and the earfun also offer wireless charging
Hi, I noticed these buds don't have the Qualcomm 3020 chip and was wondering if there were any latency problems when watching videos/movies/RU-vid, etc. thanks
My verdict on my icons air.. Sound: ok.. Like your typical wired earbuds included in the box Mic: ok like your typical included in the box wired earbuds Fit: excellent.. Battery: excellent.. Plus the earbuds charge fast Connection: flawless..
