JLabs are doing some incredible things tbh. I bought two pair and the only reason I bought an extra is because I lost the first pair. (User error) I have tried other wireless buds and these are by far my favorite for the price.
Have a pair of jlabs air without the anc, had them for about 5 or so years. They're just about starting to run into battery life issues so I'm thinking about getting a new pair for every day use and use my old ones as spares. These or the anc 3 seem to be the best options, so wish me luck!
I agree JLab is one of the best value brands out with all the various sales, and rewards points, plus they actively listen to their customers feedback to improve the products, and everytime I've had any issues with their stuff it's been a simple return where all had to do was fill out the RMA form, print a shipping label, and my receipt, throw it in a bubble mailer, pay the cheapest USPS shipping rate, and they give me a voucher for the full price of the product, even if I bought it on sale that I can use to buy something else on their site. I'm hard on headphones so this works out well for me. The only pairs I've had so far I would tell people not to get are their Diego buds as they just fall apart in your hands, and the Rewinds as without modding them with different earpads they hurt my ears, don't sound very good, the plastic headband cracks easy, and they don't play well with some devices like older Macbooks where the volume gets locked at medium, or mute.
Thanks for the review. Target has them on sale for $39.99 right now. I was looking at them for a gift for my daughter. Coincidentally she mentioned just this morning she wanted ear buds with ANC. Is that fate? Why I think it is.
Yeah. Impressive noise cancellation... for as long as it works, because my pair worked perfectly for about a week and then the left side completely died. Reached out to the company five or six times through email alread, and all I got was a pamphlet attachment showing how to re-pair it. They are a bit on the larger size, but I was willing to live with that as long as it did what it said. The company offered no help whatsoever. Terrible customer service. Please pay a couple of dollars more and buy a better product.
@@DeltaZMM Warranty has 2 diff ways. Send vs no send. Online will say to send them. If you call, one will email you (no send) to take images of the buds submerged in water, and cut the cord. After, you'll get a voucher code for a free anc or anything else, but you'll pay the diff; depends if it cost more then the ANC.
I got mine recently. They are great so far. It's my 3rd JLab product. I have had wired headphones. I still have and use there over the ear JLab Studio Pro headphones. They are a solid brand for the price range. *Edit I like using the foam tips. They work great.
These headphones check everything off but I hate them because they disconnected from eachother so then I have to trouble shoot them to get them playing together again but even when I try to troubleshoot sometimes it doesn’t reconnect to eachother it’s really annoying
I'm waiting for the company to send me a 3rd pair because of that reason. The company keeps sending me new ones under warranty. To be fair the company has had fantastic customer service! Hopefully 3rd times the charm because im tired of dealing with it.
I got them for $34 shipped with the free pair of metal wired earbuds, don't forget to sign up for the rewards points you can on purchases, and discounts at any time once you have enough points for simply visiting the site.
Nice video I'm a big JLab fan I watched this video with the air icon earbuds. I've bought numerous JLab products cause their products are pure quality to me. Plus the cable is not an issue for me I like having a way to charge them without having to carry a cable around with me.
While I wish these had a skip-back function, at least JLab didn't commit the sin of leaving out volume up & down. Overall, these look like awesome buds for the bucks.
Thanks for the feedback! The integrated cable is durable and has been tested to bend thousands of times and has a pull strength of over 6.6 lbs for more than a minute. www.jlabaudio.com/blogs/news/patent-pending-integrated-charging-cable
We hear you in regards to the USB type C but also want to reasure you that the integrate charging cable is very durable - it’s designed to not break from lots of wear and tear. In fact it's been tested to bend thousands of times and has a pull strength of over 6.6 lbs for more than a minute. Like Gamesky mentioned, if the cable were to wear down and no longer work we would replace under our 2 year warranty! -JLab Audio
The cable is absolutely flimsy. It is rugged, lasts forever, so simple and easy to use. If you haven’t used it ever, in person, I can see how you might assume that, but I can speak from personal experience that the charge cable will absolutely last for years. One less thing to keep up with - I have a few @jlabaudio units and they’re all awesome. The integrated cable is genius!!
Saw Jlab starting with their ANC lineup and it makes think of buyin one but I was thinkin to buy wired ones hahaha, I really love the style of your review Gamesky and nice review for this earbuds. Keep up the good work man❤🇵🇭
I bought these earbuds, and have been using for few months now and i find the sound quality good end decent enough. However, in all of the earbuds, earpiece, I have used and tried on, this is probably the most uncomfortable to use, especially on prolonged usage, and even jogging. Even if I use the memory foam, it feels a little tight and a bit painful overtime in my ears.
Just ordered a pair of these for 40 quid last night 👌 did a fair bit of research and almost bought a £60 set of the sports ones but I think this will suit me better .. it was these or some JVC XX 90bt's
Hate JLabs charging cable attached...I have a cable in my areas that I hang out. What I don’t have is a female USB in that area with a long cable on it. So I would much rather have a normal USBC slot on the case. Sometimes less is more, and it is not very functional, so why keep doing it. Very gimmicky and has kept me from buying additional releases from them
Don’t hesitate to buy those Jlabs guys I’m telling you he’s telling you the truth the anc and the be aware is up there with the big boys and jlab audio is even amazing on these earbuds I just returned the mifo 04 when I picked the jlabs up
At 5 minutes into the video you mentioned vacuum suctioning feeling with some ANC wireless devices. I came to experience this recently when I was testing several ANC devices in one sitting and I couldn't comprehend what was contributing to that effect. Why is it that one ANC buds or headphones produce that vacuuming feeling while other ones felt completely natural? I am very curious.
One thing to note about the foam vs. silicon tips that I have learned from personal experience. The foam tips, or at least the Cloud Foam tips that come with these earbuds, tend to collect more earwax on the outer surface. The solution to this would be to just clean the earwax off more frequently, but the issue is that the earwax basically fuses itself to the foam, making it basically impossible to clean off, and eventually the buildup get to the point where you just have to replace them altogether. It doesn't do this with just earwax though, everything from dirt and dust particles, hair, and food crumbs stick to the foam, meaning that just a few drops on the ground can lead to your ear tips being absolutely caked in debris, making them gross to look at and feel in your ear. TLDR: Foam tips get dirty very quickly and are virtually impossible to clean.
I just bought mine now, ran a quick test, but they came with only 10% charge, so I'm charging them now. Questions: How long should I expect for them to charge fully? Right now, on the charger, I do have the 2 blue LEDs pulsing slowly, so that's good. I also have the charger base plugged into a battery pack to keep it charged for mobile use. I'm just not sure how long to expect for a full charge. Thanks in advance.
(update at the bottom) I got these to replace a pair of anker note e earbuds thst i accedently ran through the washer. The ankers were $40 amd did not have anc. The JLabs edge out the anker in sound quality by just a bit. However that isnt high praise as the ankers were just about the lowest _acceptable_ sound quality a set of earbuds could have. Any lower, and theyre manufactured ewaste. The JLabs a a bit above. They don't sound good by any means, but they are acceptable for mowing the lawn of walking around the grocery store. Jlabs takes the unfortunate route of using eq to mask their drivers deficiencies. Their balanced preset sounds like hot garbage. You need to use their "jlabs" preset to make them sound better. This isnt a feature. A speaker should sound good naturally, and shouldnt need eq to trick you into thinking it's good. The anc works, however its no where near as good as apple anc. It may be useful in some situations, but overall it just hurts the quality. I wouldve preferred better drivers and no anc. Spend the money on what matters. The integrated usb cable is dumb. Thats all i have to say on that. The case is HUGE. Its way too big. The earbuds are nowhere near as comfortable as he anker product, which is a stem style earbud. The comfort level isnt even close. Amd i feel kinda stupid wearing these in public. They stick out (MUCH more noticable) than stem style earbuds. If youre more concerned with comfort, get the ankers. If you want decent-ish sound quality, these might fit the bill. Just dont expect the level of eargasm these paid off reviews get. Theyre mediocre at best. The airpods easily blow either of these out of the water for not much more money. If youre in the apple ecosystem, i would get thise. Update 7 months later: I've gotten used to the feel in the ear, but I still think that the stem style earbuds are superior. The sound is adequate and theyve been a decent pair of earbuds. However, mine have pairing issues. Many times (more often than not) only one side will pair. Sometimes it's a quick fix by putting them back in the case and taking them out again and it fixes the problem. Other times I have to hard reset them multiple times. Today it took me 15 minutes to get them paired correctly. It's a hugely annoying problem. And you look silly doing it. (Take them out of the case, put them in your ear. Put them back in the case, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, repeat. Try again. Over and over). They seem to be getting worse too. I would honestly recommend getting something else. If the sound quality was higher, it might be worth the inconvenience. But as it stands these are spitting distance from base airpods. And even though those don't have anc, they also most likely won't have the pairing issue. Or you could try the Google or Samsung earbuds if you dont care for apple. But I truly think the extra money is well spent on a product that just works when you pull it out. I'm sure others will say that their labs work fine, but if you look online, there is TONS of info out there about how to reset these. Which means that A LOT of people _ARE_ having problems. They are worth $60 without the hassle. But add the pairing issue and they're not even close.
Still affordable 👍 Jlabs are really pushing it in the right direction! No skipping back😒 not smart! But sorry nothing beats my Sony's & Jabra's 75t😁! Keith my next goal is Sennheiser's Momentum, thanks for your opinion!
i have the sennheiser momentum 2 true wireless in white and i'm very happy with them overall. The sound quality is just way better than any other tw earbuds on the market today.
@@davidfigg thank u so much I really appreciate your comment 😁, I'm hoping to buy it next month when Amazon does it's Prime day👍! I really want a pair! And maybe after that a pair of B & O's? 😉
Great review!!! Please share in a video (or comment if you don't plan to make a video) your top 10 ANC earbuds.. unless you will be reviewing quite a few ANC soon in which case we should wait .. Few months back you actually liked the Aukey T18NC... do these still rock? now they are substantially cheaper.
Pick another brand. I've had sony and Bose and a cheap Chinese brand. All worked better. These JLab would constantly fail to connect one side. Poor battery life, fell very short of 8 hours.
Thanks so much for your review as I mentioned earlier I did order them from day labs and I received them today and I let someone else know who also had purchased them on your recommendation and they were happy with them also so I guess you hit it out of the park I really love these earbuds there reasonable for what you get especially with the ANC I can't get over the noise canceling it actually works something that has been missing in other pairs that I've tried and returned because it's just not work well they're comfortable they sound good they pair immediately I'm no audio file but what's not to like with these? 🥰
Do these fall out of your ears easily? I just returned my AirPods because they kept slipping and falling out of my ears and I'm looking for earphones that stay in
#Gamesky please can you recomen that wireless budget are better for person who hear only with one ear. Thank you so much, I really need your recomend. I think between this and skullcandy...???
They work great but the most absolutely frustrating thing with them is getting them to sync to each other and there is no actual step by step that works everytime. That alone make me want to throw them away.
My right side buttons are not even working anymore. The board inside is uncentred. Can feel it moving. They still work fine, but accidently resetting the L earbud. Opps.
You are a great great reviewer, also El Jefe and Kenneth Tanaka, you are all interchangeable for the number one spot, and you're the only one that says if it's a wide stage or at least describes the sound stage and I think that's great!
I'm confused... within 3 days i bought three different pairs of jlabs true wireless earbuds so i could compare: i bought the GO AIR TRUE WIRELESS EARBUDS, the JBUDS AIR ANC TRUE WIRELESS EARBUDS, and the EPIC AIR ANC TRUE WIRELESS EARBUDS. Though i like everything about the $99 ones better than the other two, why do the $99 ones sound worse than the $69 ones???!!! The $69 one sound WAY better than the $99 ones. Except the $69 ones are uncomfortable. Why don't the $99 ones have 12mm drivers? They'd sound better. I compared all of them on the same settings. NC off, full volume, and on the bass boost settings, with the same song, same volume on the music device, etc. I'm super disappointed that the $99 sound WORSE than the $69 dollar ones. The $99 ones sound like the $30 ones except SLIGHTLY louder -- but they have the same DULL non-clear tone. No bass, no high end. It makes no sense that the most expensive ones don't sound the best. Also the CASE one the cheapest one is the best form factor -- so much easier to deal with. The cases for the $69 and $99 ones are huge and clumsy. The ONLY benefit to the $99 ones is the pause when removing, and the more comfortable form factor. Shouldn't a $99 set of premium earbuds sound BETTER, if not the SAME as the $69 earbuds?? Also, what's with the MASSIVE sync issue with audio/video?! Whether in movie or music mode, there's UNACCEPTABLE misalignment. My jaybird x3 don't do it. I wanted to buy the set of jlabs just for work, but this is hugely disappointing.
Also, gross, you have an ASMR mic? "I just happen to have an expensive model of the human ear for no reason shut up, anyway this is what these headphones sound like in the human ear, Leave a like to hear me suck on it in my underwear."
Sadly I don't recommend buying this, People. Now may 7, the ear buds lost dual connection to each other, they are now separated I tried to do the trouble shooting, it did not work. I am disappointed, sadly. cause I really like these air anc Bluetooth ear buds, but they get messed up out of now where, I took very good care of them, and this is the results? I've been looking through how to fixed this issue I search all around youtube and I see lots and lots of comments of the same issue. This really sucks. I bought them last month April 17 at target. Now IMA get my moneh' back. Guess I'll search a good wireless ear buds that don't have thIs issue
They are good if they work. 3 times for me. If the sensor isn't working properly or weird noise sound. Its a defect. I noticed, some cush fins are fat; wont slip vs the thin will slip. Downside is my fat cush fins feels made uneven. I can tell. I do have the thin ones but Its annoying when they slide out. Not needed for reg use, exercising maybe depending on head movement.
How much static noise do these have with and without ANC? Tried Earfun Free Pro and Soundpeats T2. The T2 have a lot of white noise with ANC and just a little bit overall with any audio signal, while the Earfun have too much static noise just with active audio signal (less than the T2 with ANC, but more than the T2 without ANC. The ANC in the Earfun didn't add any further static btw). Not a problem for music, but could be a concern for podcasts and audio books.
I just got some JLab Jbuds ANC today. Where do I find a charger for it in case I didn’t read far enough down in the reviews? Love the informational video review 🙌🏾🙌🏾
They're alright for a budget choice.. I'm taking em back tho.. didn't hit hard enough.. Gonna try to jabras 75? Something like that.. if you want loud and heavy hitting jbuds air are not the move.
