I’m gonna wait to get this set so I can see what people do with lighting kits for this. The massive engines and trans blue tiles on the bridges and hangar are just begging to be lit up
Hey Benny, I have a really cool idea for a photoshop! Is there any way you could turn the postcards from the Lego set Tales of the Space age into real posters? It would be sick to seek them realistified!
Ok can we just talk about how there are soo many people out there that have dedicated their channels to reviewing Lego sets like bricksie and have been the best at it for a long time. Until benny. Like he’s gunna TAKE OVER I mean look at this editing. At the minute I look up this sets review and I don’t see benny’s but wait to people realise in the Lego community. MMMMH
I'll be honest, I've never cared about Lego and I probably never will, but this video was sooo interesting. You've got a talent for video production and viewer engagement Benny... keep it up!
Hi i need help. I am new to lego star wars so i have a question. Will the new star wars sets be on sale for Christmas? I want to buy the venator so does lego put on sale new sets? Thanks
This set is dream build. One i hope il get my hands soon. Saving as crazy to get it!!! I don't even care for UCS Millenium Falcon (well i lie about MF) or AT-AT, this one number 1! But its bloody expensive. I guess saving is best option:):) and i guess when you finally save enough and you buy it and start putting it together, that is what counts. I know its not perfect and that LEGO could make some stuff in this set better, but it still looks great.
650€ for 5000 pieces is imo too expencive. And for that u get a interior that looks like a unicorn puked in it. The exterior looks great but the whole thing bends in the middle and when u take out one piece of exterior the whole thing falls apart. I wouldnt have bought this set if I had known these cons especially when building the thing is no fun at all bc u build the same part 8 times and when there are mocs that are better and cheaper for displaying.
I realy realy tried to love this set. But the missing hangar bay!! So many great and memorable scenes in clone wars happen in the hanger bay of a venator. The iconic scenes when the gunships begin their assault, when the fighters start on their (last) flight. For 400€ i would buy it in a heartbeat, but 650€ for a hollow shell is just not right
The stickers are pure laziness. They could've made those circulars printed or god forbid even brick built especially for the price but no they took the easy way out.
Benny back at it again , hopefully you could do the at te in the next one. This set isn't cheap and so is your editing, you did all that by yourself, hats off to you.
Actually this isn’t the first time LEGO has introduced Yularan to a set. There was a May 4th promo poly bag featuring various characters, and even an older Episode IV Yularan. Facts.
Great video! I wish Lego actually gave us printed pieces for those top decal sections or at least transparent to avoid the off grey not matching... overall very nice set!
You forgot to mention the admiral yularen from the may the fourth polly bag Lego released from Star Wars rebels and from the original trilogy. Also great review
Lego should have just advertised it as the Resolute, since the ship is based on The Clone Wars series instead of ROTS. Not only that, the art in the box has ROTS screenshots, yet it literally is from the TV series. I think posting TCW images would have fit better tbh.
Great review, love the enthousiasm. Have seen enough negativity in Lego reviews, mostly not in place. One thing: it isnt the First time Lego release a Yularen minifig. There is a polubag with an older Yularen (from a New Hope). Unfortunatly i dont have one.
Great video review with some excellent presentation! I only keep up with a few different Lego channels, but I'll be sure to keep an eye out for yours in the future. To quote Chancellor Palpatine, "We will watch your career with great interest" :)
I NEED a light kit for this thing to mimic that intro Venator. Also small notes it's not necessarily the RotS Venator as much as it is a flagship Venator as the red markings signify that a Jedi commander commands that ship and fleet.
Are you going to also review UCS millennium falcon? I am not able to decide between venator or the falcon. As a fan of both trilogies and the sets are for the same price in my country.
I have mine on the way with an additional 2000 pieces. I'm going to try to convert it to the ROTS live-action version! I think the live action version looks much better than the Clone Wars version. It's going to be a fun project!
