The murder and cruelty of the bolsheviks is why I became interested in not only Russian history, but also it's Christianity. I am now glad that years ago I made the right choice as I'm now apart of the Russian Church. May the memories of the new martyrs and confessors be eternal! ☦️🇷🇺🕯️
I was a Protestant for over 60 years until the voice of God commanded me to be baptized in a Russian Orthodox Church. It took two years of spiritual warfare to accomplish what should have been a very simple task because those I loved in the Church were corrupt. I overcame their opposition because the Lord was with me, though it cost me everything and everyone I loved. As I look at the photos of these and the many other martyrs of the Catacomb Church, I understand the type of betrayal they suffered and I know that when I look them in the eye after this life ends that I will be able to do so without flinching. Although they were Lutheran, my father’s Grandfather’s sisters and brothers in the Ukraine’s German towns were also murdered as much for their faith as their ethnicity AND professional farming. Pray for them, and pray that America is delivered from the scourge of Socialism.

As an american practicing catholic, knowledge of the fate of Orthodox Church and its priests and nuns led me to be fiercely interested in russian literature. I’m reading Maxim Gorky’s childhood/apprenticeship/universities now. ......... i am especially taken with heartfelt prayers with the pictures of the ordinary local priests with the wife and some with children.
God bless their souls! They endured to the end valiantly. May they enjoy all the honors they deserve in Gods glorious Kingdom, and may the Lord help those of us here, faithfully follow in their steps !
Some of the most beautiful, holy, and grace filled people the world has ever known shamefully cut down and eradicated from the earth! Thankfully they have inherited the Kingdom of God and pray for our lazy, sinful souls! God is glorified in His saints! ❤️

But then he went back to Russia, and finally, he was also slaughtered. - could this collection include Holy Martyr Aleksandr Hotovitski, for ex. min.point [03:56] , or [6:50] , or [7:50] , or [10:18] , or some other photo ? we Love him very much. his [laminated photo-]-Icon is attached above to my grave pit's side = to bedroom's window. 🥀 Holy Aleksandr is Watching there to our repository-town, at Finland's East border. 🍀
My concern is that the Democrats want to do the same to us in America as their predecessors did to the Russian Church and its people. I am an Orthodox Christian. My prayers are for the saints and America's protection.
George Hage I know Putin repented of his atheism but still think the skullduggery of his youth is necessary. He has saved many Orthodox through his foreign policy. Really, would Russia really be in Syria I’d he didn’t care about saving the See of Antioch? Yet, his involvement is very reminiscent of when Al Capone donated millions to the Roman diocese of Cook country to keep them from going bankrupt. Should we tolerate Putin as that Roman bishop of the time did? Or should we be more like the Mother Superior at the beginning of “Blues Brothers”, who REFUSED one dime of ill gotten gain? Should Patriarch Kiril do more to restrain Putin? Do I understand enough to even HAVE an opinion On this matter?
