Just going to say been a long supporter and user of the website. I have to say this is honestly a miracle for me and my experiences with GW2. Your opening thoughts are exactly what I have experienced for years now. I Am a cronic reroller on this game for exactly that reason, the games balance 'punishes' non gimmick or 'normal' builds and heavily favours gimmicks that go outside the scope of normal. On your other point THANK YOU for showing the medic style classes. This has been a desired playstyle I have wanted with my guild for some time now, who favor small groups of combatants that take out players with solid dps but we have been needing a 'support' that fits this aggression for a while. This fits perfectly. Thank you for giving hope in this game mode and game again.

I play every night with a small group of 10-15 that just try to have fun and complete daily/weekly activities in WvW. For the last couple weeks I was looking for a hybrid build where I can somewhat accomplish something by myself but also support the group. This video is exactly what I was looking for.

I actually really appreciate this as I usually roam either alone or in a smaller guild group! I've been wanting to try a small scale support kind of build since I'm usually dps, want to change it up. Great video and builds Vallun and GuildJen. PS: idk what people have beef about but please keep doing your gw2 stuff, I really enjoy it from both of you. :)

Near perma evade and stealth is such bs or crazy sustain and still have crazy damage.

I love WvW, have a guild that runs it constantly and love healing peepos in big fights (I actually like the big fights, it is a Mist W-A-R after all, it's not meant to be easy to walk alone) BUT I am currently ALSO trying to roam more, 1v2,1v3 etc more, so people like you and GuildJen are doing the gods work for me, ty for it I think I'll try those now!

Isn't that what Staff eles were initially / pre expansions? Ranged support with a few escape tools but quick to die when pinned down. Also provided CC setups and high damage (given you could keep the enemy group in one spot).

hopped in to NA one night, only to see NT (guild) spawncamping and Xv1ing players. I'm sure this incentives new players to play wvw. lmao (07:47 is a great example of your wvw playerbase)
