The New Minecraft Speedrun World Record is FAKE. 

Got a lot of "chat pros" on this video! Incase I wasn't clear at the end, this run is unverifiable, not submitted to the boards, and entirely faked by a runner who has a history of posting faked, "joke" runs. I understand that you may think it's real, but hundreds of speedrunners *know* that it's not.

Good thing we have people verifying these things who know what they’re doing. Other than having no loading screen or seed I probably would’ve thought it was real

As much as I hate mods and all the extraneous stuff that has to be tacked onto an "Any%" Minecraft Glitchless runs not showing the world generation is the biggest giveaway that I'm glad the user forgot about/conveniently cropped out.

My two immediate impressions as I was watching this: 1. This looks like controller movement (especially the camera control). 2. The FOV is unnaturally low for a speedrunner.

The real crime was playing in left handed mode.

The no seed and no loading screen points are damming, but the points an old version of sodium and choked end fight personally do not hold up. Firstly, why is it illegal to have an old version of a mod? That just does not make sense. Sure, it is better to have to most recent version, but that show not make the run fake. Secondly and more importantly, Loya messing up the end fight makes 100% sense. If you were on world record pace by other 30 seconds, breaking the enter stronghold and enter end wrs by about a minute, your hands would be shaking, and you could barely think, especially after a poor first bed putting you in a bad head space. I personally think this is legit, just the loading screen and seed are strange not to include.

mapless treasure has only been used in the last 4 wrs in this category btw 🤓 but yeah as someone who's followed some stuff from them in ssg, loya's just... strange. they came out of nowhere with insane mechanics, then privated all of their youtube videos, and like idk how this was first posted or shared or what because i really haven't heard or seen much from them in a while. it's such a bizarre case and like people were trolling and seriously pretending to try to convince others it was real, and i don't know whose fault this or what happened behind the scenes, is but i don't think it's funny to do this, even though it was clearly an attempt at a joke

I think you're probably right. Due to not seeing the loading screen, that really implies its probably NOT a new world record. Plus, she couldn't even kill the dragon with that number of explosives! if they're not skilled enough at something as simple as that, i doubt they'd be able to get the WR

I saw this thumbnail “fake”! But it was multiple levels of clickbait. There’s nothing that proves this is fake in my opinion. Also it’s not the “new” record I guess? Thanks for misleading me for your whole video. I did like your editing though, so I’d love to see you cover new runs, I just didn’t like the misleading nature of the video
