Oh yeah now that's how a board should sound. Also I love the sound of top mount idc if it has slight hollow on the mods doesn't matter it's more natural. A little bit is ok 😉.. but this thing sounds good in every way you do it.

Hey Alex have you tried top mount without the silicone/isolation? I run my sonnet with just the screws, no isolation, and it’s my favorite config.

fwiw I want to hear hyperglides on Nylon or PP! Used hyperglides on Nyon for a gummy o ring build, and it was nuts. I feel like it’d sing on a SixtyFive.

@alexotos you said the Wuque aurora switches were clackier than HMX on your stream today. Were you referring to the Mizu Aurora, The clear or the colored ones like fog,pink and blue?

I am really loving Modes boards recently. As much as this board has a lot of cool features going for it, I’m not the biggest fan of this model not having matching parts for top/bottom configs. You have to get either a different material or color of Alu entirely.. not my cup of tea but I’m sure others will like it. Definitely eyeing the Encore though. That wood on Alu is insanely nice.

alex, can we get an updated 2024 guide to lubing stabilizers? I know better methods and practices are out there but every video is at least 2+ years old now.

Hey stills, I still use the same method to lube stabs, the only exception is really some stabs need 205g0 only instead of the mix of dielectric grease, but this is still a great idea! I will consider working on one!

@@alexotos off the top of your head, which ones should take just 205g0 vs a mix? and for the mix, is it 205g0 on the plastic and then dip the wires up to the corner in the dialectic tube?
