Wonderful looking razor very interesting design, very unusual "ballast" damper and awesome how it locks the head down and adjustmet. Would be nice to have the numbers painted though.🤠

Looking forward to see how you find the shave. As with all Blackland’s they look amazing but I’ve always found them a tad too aggressive for my skin. This could solve that issue!
@@blacklandrazors I love my Era, and the Vector I had was amazing but as a daily shaver a tad too much for my baby face skin! This just looks too good to miss!
All Blackland razors are the highest quality. My only issue is that the setting gear can only be changed by loosening the handle. It just doesn't seem very efficient to me.
Check out Part 6 of our building series on our channel. During the shave I adjust the shave level in real time so you can see how easy it is. It's just like any vintage Gillette adjustable. It's an important safety feature to prevent unwanted adjustments during a shave.
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts once you've shaved with it Kevy, I'm sure, after avidly watching all the work that went into the head, it will be a fabulous shave. Was really up for this razor until they revealed the handle that they were putting on it, it's ugly and over designed, plus the fact that you have to back off the handle to adjust and then re tighten the handle.... That's where they lost me. A shame, as I have loved and own most of the razors that Shane and the team have produced.
I notice the Osprey is made of 303 stainless steel which can be susceptible to pitting. The Rex Konsul as comparison is made of Marine Grade Stainless Steel 316, which is higher quality… I’m curious with the intricacy of the Osprey what it looks like in several years🤷🏼♂️. Thoughts?
Hello Kevy Sir, the equipment looks very good and modern, but I wonder what it's like to wash all the nooks and crannies to prevent white embed suds from accumulating. Rinsing is not enough. Much health. Wojtek 🤓
I don't know why Black land insists on making all their razors with smooth handles. It's not the biggest deal on non adjustable razors cuz you can swap the handles out but for this one you can't.
@@RonnieYates yeah but why tho? Seems like it just makes the handles slippery for no reason. Unless their machining the SS and it will deteriorate or something. Idk I'm not a designer/engineer. Karve does a copy of the old Gillette fat handle which has great knurling and it looks and feels great to use.
Well I would have pained numbers Black or Red, guy doing talking has weird accent. Bet he don’t celebrate July 4th.🥳 Interesting adjustable but $350.00 is not my comfort zone. Will ask daughter for one for Christmas.🎄
