I'm a strong critic of president weah but i must applaud him for this 👏🏿 now focus on roads connectivity throughout the country. We also need good roads and quality highways to boost our economy.
Roads and transportation infrastructures are the very boost to develop Liberia not parks and recreation. Japan after Hiroshima did not build parks bc they r happy. The first things the colonizer did in all of Africa was to build infrastructure like roadways , open ways with bridge and rehabilitate all transportation infrastructure. I believe that should be the focus, just open all the roadways in the entire Liberia can be done. We do not need parks and recreation at this time bc we have work to do. people need to be able to travel every where in liberia. take a look at SINOE, i am sure u r aware of it

Some of them that are criticising this project has never anything like this in their, instead of them appreciate it they want to critique just like they have something in the country before. The rice price business the Congo people did developed the country. They were just advocating for rice to confort the native people.

looks very nice .... but it was a huge risk to build it so close to the shore line . too close and the sewall should have been thicker than what I see hopefully global warming does not happen in Liberia and we are good if not the litlle surge and that is it. Hopefull yall still and remain calm
Perhaps those in power don't understand economic development, or don't want it. Not $1 will be added to the GDP and household incomes of Liberians from this project.
I appreciate the drone shots because it tells most of the story. This park isn’t even done so he should’ve either had started the project early enough if he wanted it revealed before the elections. Secondly I don’t know why you would build a football pitch next to the ocean. It makes no damn sense. The open gutters have to go. They will just dump trash in it. I appreciate the video though.

You're right, They don't love the country or it's people if they're against development. It seems some are more loyal to political parties than the country's well being.
Liberia has very limited resources. It's about using public funds for the most important purposes first. Building a recreation project reflective of personal interest and who will not do one thing for Liberian employment and skills development, unless it's kicking a football.
I would be impressed by an industrial park outfitted for companies to build manufacturing facilities to employ Liberians. I don't understand sports recreation facilities as a priority in one of the world's poorest countries with high unemployment, low skills base, lack of adequate medical care, and a huge drug abuse problem.

I know what the hell I am talking about. ask me and I will tell u. just by looking I can analyse them bc it is my domain. we coud have use the open and streamline our roadways bc roadways precede human development.
He's the only President in recent history to address infrastructure. All resources can't go to one area in a nation with so many needs. For the record all advanced cities have parks for the people. NYC gained prominence when Central & Prospect Park were built. It's a shame no past leader thought to do such things
Makes no sense to put a mere basic sports park on the beach. Ocean front beaches should have modern multi-millions/billions dollars resorts or properties built on those areas only. Why do they keep trying to reinvent the wheels when their methods is a thousand times worse?

@@deangayle9433first of he could clean the land and fence it , then hire security to protect it, later he could think about what is the best option for the land instead of just rushing building parks, Liberia have one of the biggest Coastline in Western Africa but we have no up to standard beach resort, instead Weah is building children playground, and before even thinking about building Park he need to put light on the highway leading to RIA, it’s dark as hell and that road don’t look like a lead to an Airport, but rather look like it leads to a little village.
