Amazing build, nicely explained. I went all the way Viper with Trapper rune set and Relic of Acheem to stop relying on bleeds. The Relic synergyses with Sleight Hand from Trickery. Signet of Malice gives amazing sustainability and Well of Silence removes Cnditions in AOE and activates the Relic of Acheem as well, beside being a repositioning skill.

Nice guide as always - i played vipers Specter previously, a little sad that not where it was DPS wise since the patch - currently running heal alac specter which is a ton of fun (i love healing well on non meta builds) may try ritualist / alac soon

Oh yes! I saw the heal alac specter build and I want to try it! I think the celestial build with monk relic and a few trait changes will be a good healing set up with a little dps on top! Hope the build goes well mate!

Hi Alcapitian, what builds would you recommend have the easiest rotations to learn? I would like to get into fractals, raids and strikes but anxiety about sucking and needing to be carried is something i don't want to so i looking for a low intensity group pve builds was curious what you might recommend?

Haha you seem like me! I would recommend power alac mech or alac ren... the reason why is because you aren't competing head to head dps wise so people won't be toxic about your output and they have such easy boon application. However, if you are dead set on playing dps, condi/power Virtuoso are easy to pick up and play well with tons of range. I hope this helps you mate

I started gw2 in august and play condi specter in raid, I wanted to try a dps support build but was afraid it would change too much, there is nearly zero difference in the full condi specter rotation >

You're so right, this build has such a 1 to 1 rotation between full dps and alac dps, making it really brilliant for players getting into gw2

I've been playing around with it a bit now(sorry for late response). I would definitely take this for Open World/Solo if you are playing with 2 wells... that quickness uptime is mental and you're losing almost no dps

Haha thank you! I will look at weaver, tbh I was working on a catalyst guide but I wasn't happy with my output so I stopped working on it. Perhaps the weaver will be a better one to look at

if i use siphon again in combat on an enemy, will I have to recast siphon on an ally to tether to them?

Only if they have moved out the range, then it would select another ally

can the celestial version be used in fractal CM's, T4 and raids ??

Lets put it this way, it is viable... if you do no healer CM fractals or if the healer is struggling, having this option is huge to carry and give barrier.... some people might want more DPS though, so it is a trade off. When it comes to raiding, again this build will help the healers a ton, especially if the healer is assigned to do mechanics, like pushing or entangling. This build can ensure people don't die easily, so it really depends on the level of the group you're in. I hope this helps, I usually go for the DPS support and switch to this if the healer needs help or if i'm open world and just coating people with boons and barrier

I asked some of my friend about this build and they told me viper armor set is more preferable one. What would you say about that ?

Vipers spectre is a strong condition dmg dps build but you will need some boon duration to play this as a alacrity giver. So, think about whether you want to play support or pure dps... eventually I would recommend building both, the rotation is simular and the dps on both is great

I tried spector and found that dying was part of the rotation.

haha, you have to kite a lot, but with the scepter its not that bad, use the barrier skills and then stand in the healing well as long as possible... its not a horrible choice for all content
