If the GTE class were to have continued, this should've been the 992 RSR. But unfortunately that won't happen. Love the design of it and that classic spoiler design (934-5 or 935 maybe). And then the engine revving to 9400 rpm. I would love to film this car on track some day. :D

Never say it won't happen. Porsche left as a factory team, but that doesn't mean they will stop the RSR program and R&D. That's why you are looking at this car now, I don't doubt that private teams like Dempsey might continue racing Porsche, Patrick is a Porsche lover. So, the evolution will continue, and the legacy will never die. One day, the rules will change, and Porsche will reign AGAIN. PORSCHE 4LIFE

They should've made it mid engine with open exhaust to pay tribute to the 2017-2019 porsche 911 rsr, it may not be Porsche's most successful racecar but without a doubt their best sounding racecar.

The problem is BOP, Porsche is being smash with tons of regulation to slow it down and let the incredibly inferior corvette win for marketing purposes. That doesn't make any model less successful. Unleash Porsche and see. 919 EVO tribute with a experimental 4 cylinder in line turbo and the hybrid system destroy every record on earth, even Spa fastest F1 lap time record. One day my friend we will enjoy that sound again.

This is more or less a standard GT3 R racing car. Watching the qualifying of 24 h Nürburgring, I timed these cars at around 6:30 min (at the usual 20,6 km Nordschleife lap).

This is beautiful. This is what I hoped to see on the streets one day. Back in 2011 Porsche gave us the GT3 RS 4.0 as a swan song for the 997 generation. It was amazing, the power bump compared to the standard GT3 RS was great. But since nothing like it came with the 991, maybe it would be nice to see a 992 GT3 RS 4.2 for the street, pushing...well, obviously not the same 620 PS as this, because emission/noise standards, but certainly some 560 hp...maybe a little more? 570/580 hp? 600hp, perhaps? An enthusiast can dream. In any case. Thank you for this masterpiece, even if I'll never be able to afford it.
