When I firstly used Qorvex he felt so clunky, but after a while of getting to know him better and how to build him, he’a such a terrific Warframe to use. Have been relying on him for quite some time for Steel Path and the results are magnificent.
oh yeah,this guy still being relevant makes me so happy,qorvex may not be a frame i will call my main any time soon but its hard to deny he's solid (pun intended) and effective at sheer destruction...kinda wished mandonel felt better to use...he's kinda empty on the signature gear side,but hey,why complain when you can enjoy the radiation shower
That’s a very good build! Mine is just a tad different, the only differences are that I run p. Continuity and Overextended, 2 Tauforged yellows for stronger energy orbs and two tau reds for duration. Oh and Molt Construct instead of Blessing. In my opinion range is more important than power for most frames, and in the case of Qorvex he does well enough at almost 120% strength, but that’s just me not doing overly long missions or reaching level cap. Overall, his augment is indeed absolutely perfect for his entire kit.
You probably wont get the same effects as shown in the intro showcase because he is using all those abilities with the double range and strength buff from having a relic cracked. You can tell because the normal maximum for the amount of guard plates he can have goes way beyond the normal cap. Warframe content creators seem to be unable to resist doing literally whatever they can do exaggerate what they are showing even if its not applicable in 99% of situations.
Not every clip showed me with that strength range buff, a little pessimistic outlook on your part, when i was recording footage i didnt even think of that effect i was just trying to capture footage and do efficient farming as well.
My build is similar, only differences are instead of rage and arcane battery for energy max and energy regen, I use p.flow and arcane energize, and instead of blind rage I use augur reach. If you run triple umbral, using corrosive projection gives you enough for full armour strip and qorvex damage is already enough for me so the extra range on the explosions and pillar is better. You also get better energy economy since abilities are cheaper.
@@wellplayedninjas Mixed but in a good way. Im not great at easily testing warframe stuff so i dont FEEL like it makes her damage better but it does change how she plays in a good way. You still want shield gating especially when not playing survival where 25 enemies killed is an easy thing to do but you essentially have free doom on all attacks so your 2 is a free and actually recommended helminth slot. You can still SPREAD doom with her 1 even while the ability is on cooldown as well, so you literally don't need her 2 anymore. Only issue is it can be dispelled, putting it on cooldown immediately.
@@wellplayedninjas It makes her invincible for 20 seconds with my build, then out of the ability im using her 1 to shield gate and spread doom until i kill the kills required to cast it again. It changes her playstyle from using her third ability as a death prevention tool that you sometimes intentionally use to gain the double crit bonus, to an ability you instead use whenever you want to cheat death without actually dying
Only thing I absolutely despise on Qorvex is his 3 beig so damn visually annoying, but I must say the augment got me excited and already started pouring forma onto him. If you have capacity, you could also use Equilibrium instead of Rage for extra healing and extra energy, but this seems to work just fine and it would cost extra umbra forma.
I feel like this should have been in his base kit instead of being an augment (the duration reset part, not the armor strip part). Theres almost no reason to use his 1st if no augment. I love qorvex but i wish there was more synergy. Great vid tho👍
Great vid! Definitely building this. One small critique: the mod screen is pretty low res on my phone, hard to read. Compared to this frame Oberon really needs a rework now.
@@wellplayedninjasYes I can zoom in but the image itself is still very blurry. Also I wanted to ask you about the topaz shards. Is the damage multiplicative? Like what percentage of damage over base is the 45%? Is it actually 45% more damage?
Isnt it redundant to have a ton of strength on qorvex since his 1/4 scales extremely well at base due to how the spreading works? It might be smarter to maximize duration and range to ensure the empowerment lasts longer
