I know Rick and Morty is a meme at this point, but the show unironically explained how the MCU's multiverse worked better than it did. Basically in the MCU there's only one timeline with any Kangs, and that the Sacred Timeline that the films took place on. But there was always a multiverse with other timelines (eg. Tobey Maguire Spiderman, 1970s Hulk tv show, etc), just none where Kang was born. In the same vein, there was always two multiverses in Rick and Morty. One where a Rick was always born into one of the timelines, and one where Rick is never born into one of the timelines. Evil Morty wanted to escape the former multiverse and travel to the latter.

Slight correction: it's not all the timelines where rick exists vs all the ones where he doesn't, rather all the ones where he's the smartest being in the universe vs all the ones where he isn't.

The problem with Rick and Morty is that it's an objectively good show (for the most part, at least it is better than some other trash out there that doesn't get shat on nearly as much), but when it exploded in popularity it got some truly horrible fans doing or saying obnoxious shit that got viral, and now it's almost shameful to like or enjoy Rick and Morty, in part or as a whole. As Jack said, don't be be afraid to laugh at the things that make you laugh, or enjoy at the things you enjoy

Yea, sometimes, for some shows, it's fine, but this is one of the times it really annoyed me. They mostly seem to complain about it having being a plot driven episode and being serious when most people I've seen actually liked that. I don't know at times it feels like they force themselves to hate things at times and sometimes they don't seem to do it as bad and I can deal with it but videos like this it just feels draining to watch.

Honestly their takes are not always 100%. But I still like their dynamic. They have so much unpopular opinion, that at times I actually found some hidden gems. From what I've seen most of their serial cartoon reactions don't have a continual plotline (hard opposite of anime). For exp. Sonic boom, Southpark, Family guy, Smiling friends, total drama, danny phantom, looney toons, etc. And I think it's on purpose, because Rick and Morty came out of nowhere with the evil plotline and it goes for 1 whole season, which I believe they avoid but fans kept begging cause it's 'their favorite arc'. Which is not how rick and morty started. Have you seen their reaction to gravity falls? They liked it, but they still have some 'takes' when the bill cypher thing came on. So it's nothing new, like at all.
