The New School - School Of Jazz and Contemporary Music Audition - College of Performing Arts 

Not the best audition, but it was good enough! This is the audition I used to get into The New School’s College of Performing Arts. This fall, I will be attending The New School for their BA/BFA program. I will graduate with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Jazz Piano Performance and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the Lang College of Liberal Arts in 5 years. I am looking forward to studying jazz right in the heart of NYC’c Greenwich Village Jazz scene. Should be and interesting (and fun!) college experience. Here I am playing “At Last,” “The Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square,” and “What Are You Doing New Year’s Eve.” These are all arrangements of 20th century jazz standards based on Brent Edstrom’s arrangements. Pardon the mistakes and out of tune piano.
