Thanks for comparing the black and silver dial. I was more into the sunburst but now I think I´m going with the black. Just more readable and more presence.

I think this is the best dial option, the other dials have a sun burst effect which i find distracting while reading the time.

A lume shot between the Alpinist and 5 would have been nice. I like the watch but, personally, I would stay with the Alpinist. This is already a classic and this new edition is much better than the previous one; I know it is heresy but I never liked the green dial with gold numbers :-P

My srpe55k1serial number starts with 5 indicating this was made in 2015 ?? Is that right ?
