@RTX El Risitas (aka El Risitas Fanboi) she has the option of an Extended Barrel or Suppressor, suppressor reduces damage, extended doesn't. There is no reason to run no barrel over extended so might as well use extended and get a bit more ranged damage for your shotgun

They’re losing the Tom Clancy fans fast by slapping his name on weird arcade shooters that aren’t at all Tom Clancy related. And meanwhile, you have studios like EA with the negative PR that happened around Battlefield V (the WWII one that was unrealistic). They are making a huge comeback this year with 2042. So Ubi gets what they deserve. They did Rogue dirty, and then you see other guys that threw him under the bus to save their reputation. It’s sad, and that’s how I know Rogue is a good guy. Cause he’s still doing this insane testing that I couldn’t imagine how many hours go into it. He really cares about the players and it’s crystal sku… clear*

How did they break the game? It was more broken before and now it's more consistent with a few outliers. I get you're meming but the meme only makes sense if it's somewhat true

​@@AvocadoBondage True, true, it's definitely a bit of an exaggeration here. I'm just saying Ubisoft in general. They have tendency to be like "We're gonna fix _this_ specific issue, and then create a bunch of issues elsewhere. Like when they tried to adjust the way that clash was able to use her gadgets/interact equipment and accidentally created the biggest exploit in Siege History (Clash using her gun and her shield at the same time). I will agree, it is definitely an exaggeration that Ubisoft breaks EVERYTHING. For the most part, the game has always been at least somewhat playable, but with most seasons we always see some pretty outrageous bugs (like the Valk Cam Exploit on Bank, or the Deployable Shield Bug) where one could honestly argue that they rather play the previous season until the bugs are fixed. Of course, I'm not actually mad at Ubisoft for this specific screw-up here. It's in the test server, and obviously not the biggest deal in the world, but it does make you wonder how the hell this happened, and it is pretty annoying when Ubisoft outright tells you "this will happen" but due to bugs or complications, it just ends up not working like that at all.

Everyone will just use it for benefits it provides, there has to be some disadvantage for it to be balanced out. Problem is Ubisoft themselves can't do the math to even balance it

@@lucious8675 Which is just not enough. I would take 15% more recoil if that meant my gun would be silenced on almost every gun. I would be fine with that in an actual realistic shooter, but this game is more of a pseudo-realistic for the sake of being a competitive eSports game.

Very good question... I guess they just wanted to make sure the gameplay felt different at different ranges you come across in the game, so every gun was made ridiculously close ranged.

Game effectively is a hero shooter but made slow firing but not one shot guns worse compared to pea shooters generally

It's a nerf to all healers and Rook but also to all tick damage weapons (fire, gas, electricity). All of these used to ignore the armour multiplier but soon they will have to overcome the additional HP of many operators.

@@hugon6717 It really wouldn't letting all guns have 1 shot headshots is too op, oh wait.... in other words, it makes no real difference apart from you don't have to listen to the annoying gun sounds as much, as in combat the suppressor makes no difference as fights can end in 1 shot anyway, in a game where you can't 1 shot people it may be stronger as it makes it harder to return fire, but because the the TTK on headshots is literally 0 it means that things like suppressors have little to no value outside of people just liking them I for one just like suppressors in games and a game that just makes them trash for the sake of making them trash is a bad game, Yes it's a very bad game, it's a buggy mess made by people that don't know how their own game works so they can't effectively make changes to it What's even worse is they don't listen to the people that do play the game, you know stuff like the Goyo issue with the sheilds that they're only now trying to fix? they knew about that before Goyo even got released thanks to pro player feedback, they refused to listen to them, that's just an example but they have feedback and can easily get feedback from every choice they make, they refuse to take it while not having the knowledge themself to make theses choices In other words, they're doing it because they're dumb and don't know any different

Because then everyone would take the suppressor since you have the advantage of not allowing your enemy to react to no tracers.

i love how games always make suppressors give your gun less range when in reality it should give more range because the barrel is longer for the bullet to travel through.

@@yarnickgoovaerts yes it is, but Finka is an entry fragger, she doesn’t need a suppressor. TB instead is a roamer, a suppressor could help her hide and take the attackers time. The Spear, even suppressed, still pucks a punch so it doesn’t matter

I discovered that the suppressor long range damage is wrong after testing one single weapon... I have no clue how they didn't notice that.
