Great Review! For those saying this is a pointless club… It may be pointless for you, but lots of guys have and love this weapon. Including me! I am a higher launch, high spin player. This in an 11.5 turned down .75 degrees is a fantastic addition. I carry an 8° driver so this being 2 plus inches shorter than my 46” driver fits in nicely to a spot that goes about 20 ish yards less than my driver. Also, this thing is crazy accurate. I can hit it off of the deck even at a low loft and it’s just so versatile off of the tee. There’s definitely a place for this and I’m glad it looks just as good as it performs.

I have put the 11.5 Mini Driver in the bag. It is a great second option off the tee. Especially for the holes when a driver is too much club and those tight fairways. It is a great option.

I put this club in my bag the 13.5 degree this is how i have my bag set up with the top of the bag Stealth 2 HD 9 degree driver BRNR Mini Driver Copper 13.5 degree Cleveland Hywood 3+ 17 degree Qi10 Max 7 wood 22 degrees It all works well for me love this club well done guys be well and be safe cheers from Vulcan Canada

I put a 3 wood shaft in it and use it off the tee as a fairway finder on tight holes. I also carry a 4 wood for shots off the fairway.

nice review. I updated to Qi10 from Pxg gen 4. Thanks to your reviews. landed on tensei AV blue S. It was the best shaft for me that didnt require paying to upgrade lol. I left TM years ago and found stealth to be awful. but Qi10 is the club of the year for sure. mini drive seems cool but unnecessary

you guys nailed it at the end. it can be for the guy who can't figure out driver and wants to try to get a bit more poke. (Currently me) I play 4 wood and 7 wood. my driver is unpredictable and honestly goes the same distance as my 4 wood. I have a 5 hybrid and 5 iron that go the same distance I could easily remove 5 iron from the bag for this.

For lower handicap players, this club makes 3W obsolete, as if you get the 13.5 degree model, and turn it up to say 14-15+ degrees, You guys hit it at 13.5 off the deck. it will wake up if you loft it up and then you will see what this thing is all about. Off tee even turned up more like that, its longer than any 3W, but far more forgiving. To be specific, I think lower handicap matters a ton. you got 1.38 smash, vs 1.40 with 3W. So 3W easier to hit for you. But when I hit both many shots, I am getting same smash on both, around 1.44-1.45. When you get same smash, the mini-driver lofted up has way more spin, and same distance, thus its more control and you can shape it better. So I think you guys are right, some people love it. But those people who do, hit it off the deck with high smash easily, and ones that cant, will not like it as much.

I’d argue the 11.5 can be a driver replacement. If you dial it down to 10 or 9.5, the loft is comparable to a driver. For me, it’s easier to hit than a driver because of the shorter shaft, and because of that, I’m finding mor fairways.

Wrong. You guys start out automatically with it's not going to take somebody's driver out of the bag...what!!!!? Do you know how many guys can't hit their driver for squat? Wormburners, out of bounds, tops etc... there are so many amateurs who can't deal with the length of drivers. The shorter shaft and bigger head and more loft will totally be a better option for thousands of golfers as a driver replacement. Yeah, sure, many of those guys would be better served with a fitting to find a shorter shaft for their driver to get really dialed in etc, etc....but that's not the reality of how the vast majority of golfers do it. They do a little research and then buy something off the rack. I get it ain't right for you. But Dude, you look dumb saying nobody is going to use this as a driver replacement.

So to confirm I have a Cobra LDTx turned down to 8 degrees and have just bought this in 13.5. I can guarantee that my unruly Cobra will be on eBay by the weekend. I have gaped the BRNR with a PXG Gen 5 0311XF 3 hybrid this combination will give me a perfect top end of the bag.
