I'm a Patriots fan but it makes no sense for Washington to trade back and that Kliff wouldn't want Daniels. The fact that the Raiders think and or fans think The Raiders are landing JD makes no sense ...it's almost comical. Daniels is going to Washington or coming to New England. As a Patriots fan I'd love Drake Maye....and I'd also be totally happy with Daniels as well. People who think The Patriots are trading this pick when they desperately need that young QB just doesnt make sense. We traded Mac....signed Jacoby for 8 mill....and now all that's left is drafting our QB. And I'll just say this now...big Bailey Zzzzzzzzzzzz aint it. He's never even been mentioned as part of the plan. Can't wait for that butt kissing throat cutting cancer for the locker room to be gone and far away from our new rookie QB1. With that said, how Washington is set up, they make perfect sense drafting Daniels. They got the weapons, got Kliff calling plays and not to mention, Daniels is more capable of starting week 1. New England has gone about it in away where they are prepared to sit the QB for up to the first year. This fits Maye as he does have a few fixable flaws to work out where he can do so with less pressure sitting behind Jacoby. Also, Drake dealt with real bad O Line play and mediocre at best WRs who are prone to drops. He's dealt with that already in college so in my mind that's huge and it makes New England's current O-Line and WR situation not seem as bad because he has experience dealing with these issues but more importantly it allows him to sit, learn and give New England more time to fix up the WR room and that O Line...all while shaping it around Maye and his strengths
