The mission of all Spanish speaking people on the planet is to serve God in his holy Roman Catholic church. This is who we are and cannot find glory any other way. We are the sword and the light of the church.

I think back to my forebears when watching this. My family being on the American continent since long before, and the other half more than likely landing with Hernan Cortes or allied with him. My family also fought in the cristero war. To give up Catholicism as one of my friends did and turning to protestantism in my view is insane then. For I would not only be rejecting Christ, but my forebears as well who fought and died in his name over various centuries. Viva Cristo Rey, Ave Christus Rex!!!!!

As said by a compatriot above the Spanish empire did not colonize it was one nation and there were viceroyalties not colonies like under the UK or French Republic

@@Carbon64 yeah, those were brutal times indeed but to some degree if it weren't for the brutality of the spanish, the natives would have continue with their savage ways for a longer time. Christianity did brough the end of human sacrifices and cannibalism to a lot of tribes of Ameria
