Murat Şen i think we’ve tried so many times to get them to make actual builds and they’ve never really delivered so it’s clear they don’t have much of an intention to build better things. They also have object/pack/budget restrictions as well (even though that’s not really an excuse) . i suppose there’s always plenty of amazing builds on the gallery though if building isn’t your thing and some of the builds in the eco living pack are genuinely nice for once

@@steinistein8611 I would kill to live in NYC. It's a cultural center with some of the best theaters, restaurants, museums in the world, and beautifuly multi-cultural. Personally, it's people who live in shitholes just to have a lot of space that I don't understand. Materialism is the opposite of culture.

@@audreym859 but that sounds so romanticised. Yes there is a lot of culture, but also smog, high criminal and murder rates, poverty, drugs, corruption, bad health care, high rents... It's a city for rich people and people who want to be part of it so bad that they will live in a 5m² apartment for an absurd amount of rent on a tiny wage... I think you can easily lose yourself there in the worst way. I think it's really cool to visit for a few weeks, but I wouldn't want to actually live there. And I never said I'd live in a sh#thole to have lots of space. I'd just prefer a safer city where I can actually afford a room with warm water...

I didn't think you necessarily were that kind of person since I don't know you,, but I know plenty of people who are, which is why I mentioned them. I've never lived in NYC, but I used to live in Chicago (worse than NYC when it comes to crime) and London which have both the good and the bad that you mentioned, and thought it was totally worth it. Similarly, I grew up in a peaceful suburb with tons of space, and I now reside in fairly-safe-but-oh-so-boring Dublin, in my opinion, none of these positive elements are worth it.

If you read the critiques you will see a lot of people are complaining about things EA has done in the past. Again our expectations are so low that we’re floored we are actually getting decent amount of content. This does not erase the past and this does not mean the sims doesn’t have core issues it still needs to work on and has yet to in 6 years. But I hope this means that EA is finally listening to the community-but that would have never happened if we just stayed like quiet good little consumers and never rocked the boat.

@@Ella-by9yk If you keep Alt while placing any object, you can put it whenever you want precisely You couldn't do it with doors and windows, which was sooo annoying if you have the "I want everything to be centered/aligned/symmetrical" syndrom I recommend you check a video of LilSimsie which is called : "How to Build a House in The Sims 4 (Builder's Bible: Building Tutorial) " From 1 year ago ! And if you're really into improving your building skill, check : "How to Roof in Sims 4 - Tips & Tricks " by James Turner from 1 year ago too This will give you all the informations you need, I would recommend writing some stuff down !

@@JR-eu2pz Alex has been working on paralives for a whole year now, and another company owned by a guy who used to work for the sims is also creating a life simulation game so ea knows they gotta step it up

That shipping container look will also be really good for making train cars. I'm working on a total rebuild, and my group of runaway kids need some old boxcars to live in.

It started from the fallen expectations from when people thought they were gonna get a farming EP and the segwayed into a (let's be honest here) terribly made trailer along with the "official gameplay" video. It didn't look too promising and it seemed like a obvious attempt for a cash grab. After seeing this however, it has gotten me a tiny bit excited

justnobodyhere lets be honest here the trailer was poorly made. Which was the packs downfall. Most people thought it was shitty and was expecting farming so people were outraged.

im kinda salty they didn't put cars in this one, because it would affect the world so much more, in plumbella's review she put out today she talked about the lack of ways to make the world more industrial, and i feel like cars could've been big in this aspect.

I feel that cars are really close, lately they put everything in the right pack (in my opinion) i hope they create a generation pack with cars.

I feel cars would be its own stuff pack, or in a "hobby" expansion pack

@@naryainc We haven't seen it in it but it doesn't mean we don't know how it is gonna work and what you'll can do. There is a lot of information and we saw the comunnity system, the machines, the traits, aspirations, skills and more. I could be wrong when this comes out, but all we've seen until now is quite good.

I don't know if you watched the live stream yesterday, but it looks like all worlds will be automatically set to a neutral state, so unless you go in and choose to pollute all of those worlds they should remain clean just like you want, based on what they said! Hope that is correct. That's what I interpreted off of the livestream at least.

I just went back and read what I said, and I didn't say it right so.... Yes, I watched the livestream. Yes, I heard that it starts out neutral. What I don't know is how quickly it changes and what I have to set up to keep it from changing when I switch to a sim in a different neighborhood wherein they don't live "eco". I don't know about you, but I have sims who live in every neighborhood and switch back and forth between them. So yeah, the apartment lots with the festivals start neutral, but how easy do they change to bad when I have a sim who doesn't follow their rules and uses the fireplace that they set to add to the "industrial vibe" and such. Again, will I need to go thru and change everything so it doesn't go bad when I have festivals because I played someone in the cityliving apartments? I watched the EnglishSimmer's gameplay video and she said she had to go into all the community lots and everywhere and change everything to be the "eco" stuff so that she could get a neighborhood all the way over. I just don't want to have to do that in all my neighborhoods because once you start playing in all the different neighborhoods, how quickly does it change and how preemptive do you have to be? I guess we'll find out.

Honestly, I think it’s because the trailers didn’t accurately represent how cool this pack is. I had nooooooo interest after viewing both trailers, but now seeing all the early access stuff and the Sims Team stream, it looks so cool!! I feel bad that the trailers put a bad taste in everyone’s mouth.
