Then you would really love the Miami game last year. Miami gets their shit pushed in the entire game and still win because the Bills sideline was 140 degrees and the whole team was dropping from heat exhaustion and dehydration aka the very reason the Miami Hurricanes don’t play 1pm games. Yea that game really, really bothered me.

As a chief fan I think Allen is almost as good as pat when you enter in runs but if they could actually get an rb to get 1200 yards and Josh had more designed passes and didn't "have" to run so much. Work off play action because people are actually biting on the run. He could be MVP, madden cover, and still loose to the chiefs in the championship game. Jk maybe even get over the hump.

As a Pats fan, I was yelling for them to throw the ball a couple of times because Allen was able to throw it relatively well in the conditions. On the last drive, I was begging for them to just run out the clock and Josh McDaniels decided to throw it twice despite Buffalo having one timeout. Mac should’ve only thrown the ball once

I secretly loved this game. I love when bad weather brings out unusual strategy and an absolute physical struggle. Also the entire game was close, any one play could’ve changed the whole outcome.

A couple weeks later the Bills became the first team in the Super Bowl era to score a touchdown on each of their first seven drives of a playoff game. Additionally, they became the only team in NFL history to not attempt a field goal, punt, or commit a turnover in a single game (regular season or postseason) against the very same Patriots.

I've been watching football as a Bills fan since 2010 and this was easily the most embarrassing loss I've witnessed. Thankfully this is their most recent loss to the Patriots.

Actually there was a Bills-Jets game in the 70s, where Namath went 2 for 18 with 3 ints, while Bills rookie Joe Ferguson went 0 for 2, with O.J. and the fullback Jim Braxton combined for 50 carries both gaining over 100 yards.

I think the Bills have a great team, and Allen is a legit top QB, but after that Patriots game, and the Bengals game last playoffs, I have 0 confidence they can win in Buffalo weather. Seems crazy to me that homefield weather is not an advantage to the home team!

This is two opposite competing football philosophies at work. The Patriots knew they didn’t have the firepower and the conditions were poor so they went slow and steady chipping away at the clock. The bills tried too hard to force their strengths into the game plan instead of game planning around the weather and essentially just ran out of time cause they couldn’t decide on a strategy. Slow and steady wins the race

I thought this game was great. The crazy weather, Patriots winning with basically no qb, It was one of those games in which Belichick proved he's still an all time great coach. It was one of the few games I've seen recently that was genuinely fun to watch.

No no no. This was a very good game possibly great. My Titans used to be in what was the AFC Central and when they played the Ravens or Steelers you knew as a fan you were going to be watching a defensive battle, on a sunny beautiful Sunday. With all the rule changes we don't get that anymore we have to wait on bad weather to get a game like this now.

Matt Breida is actually one of my favorite players. I’m a niners fan, and when he was in his peak in weeks 1-8 of the 2020 NFL season where the niners made it to the Super Bowl, he was unstoppable!

I LOVED this game, in this pass heavy era it was a gem AND we upset the Bills in their own stadium with a rebuilding team and a rookie qb. I remember Bills fans on Reddit were crying thinking the Pats were back to being their dominant selves, but uh come the playoffs that couldn't have been more wrong.

Belichick was so clever......not only have the Bills beaten them every time since-and rubbed their noses in it in the playoffs-but look at Mac Jone's record after this win. Remember, they finished that year 1-3 with the only win against the Jags, then got blown out in the playoffs. BB made the Bill see every game after this as personal and Jones hasn't been good since.

I like the contrast between this and the rest of your “worst game ever” series because in this one, as opposed to all the other ones, the team you make fun of for being the shitty one actually wins, unlike the Broncos, which are shitty AND still lose (while not having a 1st rounder)
