You don’t go from handling business the season before to suddenly not being able to throw a football deep the next. The team’s offense had already started making major changes and Peyton being the age he was wasn’t able to make the adjustment so it wound up being bad reads and “very conservative” throws 80 percent of the time. The game against Green Bay was a perfect example of the team “firing on all cylinders” as he had 4 touchdowns that night and some pretty astronomical stats. Then he was out with plantar fasciitis in both his feet after the Kansas City game so I can only imagine the pain he was in just setting up to throw the ball. Peyton and “his noodle arm” was still 4 times the player Russ is right now and it would be an improvement for sure to have him back in the Shotgun. We as Bronco fans took those five years atop the division for granted and that fact shows in the attitudes of a lot of current fans. I’m not ready to throw the towel in on Russ just yet as maybe he needed more time than he thought to get used to this offense but at the same time it’s inexcusable to make the bad calls he is making so often. We could really use the Peyton Manning of old right now. “Noodle arm” and all.

Seriously, most Hawks fans are just mortified at what's happening with Wilson and would prefer he went back to winning games again. That said, the Broncos imploding and improving the draft picks they traded to the hawks is much appreciated.

Each there own, I get the draft pick angle. I also like that as well. But I don’t hate the Broncos and I have family in Denver so I like to see the Broncos play well.

Wilson made so much magic for us hawks. I'm not exactly sure what's going on. Wilson's season last year wasn't bad. So to see this season with broncos totally explode in a bad way. Makes me feel like its more of a head coach and playcall issue. If the Seahawks and Pete carrol made Wilson look like a star. The talent is there. They just have to figure out how to glue it together.

Hackett has had the team in position to win each of the first 5 games of his head coaching career. Wilson, and MeGo fumbling, has literally prevented him from going 5-0. The O is well designed and getting players open, his QB is failing miserably.
