coming from tk ryuga ii, i'm currently using 88s game and i can immediately feel the burden on my hand and heavier swing overall. it doesn't have nearly the same level of agility. however, i can still make up for fast front court exchanges and defenses due to the short length. drives and smashes also have hidden power reserve which if unlocked could make an explosive shot. i eventually in love with it once i'm adapted enough!
Thanks for the review! How’s the quality of the game series compared to play series and tour series? I heard that play and game series have cheap materials. Also, what would you prefer astrox 88D game or astrox 77 tour?
Hi! Thanks for watching. Yes, all series are made with different materials. The Play series is more affordable but still maintains good quality. If you prefer heavy smashes and an attacking playstyle, go for the 88D Game. Personally, I find the shafts in the Tour series to be extra stiff, which makes them challenging for me to handle. ;)
hi, thanks for this comparison video. Love from India..!! I am playing friendly doubles with friends and taking badminton coaching (singles). Currently, I am using AX 27i Lite (5U) high flex shaft. I want to upgrade to a better one. I am still figuring out My playing style but I find myself 60% smashing and 40% drive/net shots. Can you suggest if I should go with 88D Game or AX Nextage or Lining ?

I am using voltric zforce 2, extra stiff racket for 6-7 years already. Now getting older and feel like moving to less stiffer and less punishing to my arm racket. Would you recommend the 88d tour or game?
Hi, I'm hoping you could help me decide between 88dpro and 88dgame. I'm an intermediate player playing roughly 3times/week, stringing my racket at 26lbs and usually known for ending the rallies with my smashes. I've tried 88dpro 2nd gen but it gets tough playing it due to the stiff shaft and long rallies and also tried 88d play 3rdgen which is great but lacks the solidness feeling. My worries for the 88dpro 3rdgen is the stiffness of the shaft as I also have an injured shoulder.
My personal feeling is the new gen is much more lighter and not too stiff compared to 2nd gen. and the new gen comes with power assist bumper too. Is actually much more easier to handle compared to 2nd gen
I've ordered the 88D Game racquet strung with Exbolt 68 at 26x27 lbs. I'm an intermediate Doubles player so I'm really looking forward to it. Do you think the tension will stay for Exbolt 68 and if it's a good tension for back court doubles player for this string?
@@vsmashsports I tried it out today and yeah, they shots are very crisp and to be honest the repulsion is still very good, I have a lining bo.1 boost 0.66m on the other racket and it actually comes close to it! I have to get used to it through, def a good upgrade for me personally!

Both model are quite different. AX88D pro equipped with stiff shaft, available in both 3U and 4U. While AX88D game equipped with medium shaft and only available in 4U. In terms of stiffness, AX88D pro has the stiffer shaft compared to AX88D Game. Could you tell what's your playing style?

Every tour model is head lighter especially the Astrox models probably that's why the feeling is stiffer. If the head weight was exactly the same as the pro i don't think the difference would be noticeable.
OK now I'm confused. 😅 Is this for 88s Tour as well? I definitely felt relatively headlight (for a head heavy racket) when it arrived. Kinda like how my nanoflare 800 felt more headheavy than I was expecting. (But after switching to thruster f c, the thruster felt like a baseball bat😮.) So will the 88S Pro feel: 1) more head heavy than the 88s Tour? 2) less stiff, more stiff than the 88S tour? Or the same stiffness? Am I likely to get timing issues if I switch between the Tour and Pro versions? 🤔🤔
Hi. We think you have a strong arm then hihi. Yes, most of Tour series are made from rexis shaft material. Technically, both 88s tour and 88 pro have same balanced point and slightly head heavy frame. (Personal feeling I felt tour feels more heavier and stiffer :) )
