OCG player here...why catapult turtle got hit due to the new 7th card spell that reveals a number 101-107 (incuding their c variants) to search a card from deck with exact type and lvl.... So the ftk with this and abc or numeron dragon

Thank god it was definitely the second and third Beatrice that was the issue 😂. The tcg lists may not be the best all the time but these most recent ocg banlists have been really weird in hitting extra deck utility cards. I wonder if Beatrice will survive in the tcg or if she’ll die due to the arrival of fiendsmith

So, Snake-Eyes is just getting less consistent. Tenpai losing 2 of their busted field spells, S:P becoming a one-shot wonder and gimmick puppet ftk becoming less easy. Sounds not too bad all things considered. I sure cannot wait for the TCG banlist do to something similar and just not address the problem cards, but instead give them a small slap on the wrist.

Speaking for the ocg community here: If you don't play the ocg and don't even know why they banned catapult, then please don't assume that the banlist "does nothing" like a know-it-all. But you're most likely just doing that for clickbait. Still pretty insensitive though.

*sigh* I really hope we don't get a banlist like this one. Its just time for the deck to be destroyed. Friends at my locals have been quitting and 70% of people arent having fun. This is how you lose most of your fans, and almost did when dino rabbit format was a thing. One of these days, they are gonna push their luck too far.

The catapult turtle hit is due to an ftk you can do with itself and some of the new tachyon cards.

I think puppets can still ftk with 1 strings but its weird they just got the new support, barely did anything and already got hit while snake eyes been tier0 for 3 formats already and they didnt ban anything

Really not sure what to make of it. The Dragon Ruler's being semi-limited is cool because the power creep has gotten so bad that it frankly may not matter. The Catapult Turtle ban reminds me of the Magical Scientist OTK here in the TCG from ages ago which used those two cards. Really does make it seem like its an entirely different game from the TCG and Master Duel, which it is. Biggest take away is that the Dragon Ruler's will eventually get further unlimits here when you follow the trend.

Worst part is, this list hit Snake-Eye and Tenpai but left the Fiendsmith Yubel menace untouched. Either Yama to 0 or Throne to 1 could have been a decent slap on the wrist, but no.

captult turtle is beacuse of tachyon ftk with number 99 making it to more than 16 k atk then tribute it for game lets be fr these two deserved to be banned but being the only hits is crazy and is so bad tenpai hits are so good beatrice to one is them trolling again because we play one of this anyways

Catapult turtle can FTK you, by using Number 100 with over 17000 attack points yeah, I forgot the combo, but it happened to me, I lost at the first turn (before I get to play)
