Something to try. Lightly dust your hands with chalk and hold the mouse, the relief will show what parts of your hand touch. Obviously don't use too much and get chalk everywhere.

FK1 is a dream shape to me, my hand size is small 17.5 in length, I am a palm/hybrid claw gripper from WMO days back in CS. FK1 gives me that WMO feeling but lower profile of the hump and thinner sides. So in a sense it’s an improvement for my mobility for the trade of feeling like the exact same. FK series in general are very versatile and accommodate many grip styles when they offer 3 different shapes.

Liked the EC3 a lot, but IMO these clicks require too much force on the FK-C, really hard to press the side buttons too. I hope the EC2-C has a similar force as the EC3 and not these FKs. Good to know they fixed the LOD stuff the EC3 had.

The FKs have always had way stiffer clicks than the EC, it's the shell design.

Yeah, FK mice have always had stiffer clicks than the rest of the lineup, even the ZA. EC2-C will have much easier to actuate/softer click feel, do not worry!

You hit the nail on the head with the MOW. I have the same issue where it feels like I struggle to pick it up. I'm gonna have to try an FK1 cause I just assumed I hated all low profile mice based off the MO and the Viper, which I still hate the sides on

Yeah, low profile mice tend to be hard to lift at times, which usually means that the coating has to be grippy! Especially if the sides are fairly flat or aren't very curved.

The FKs are the only ones that have gotten it right for me, the RVU works fine but they somehow made the least grippy rubber grips possible. The Ducky Feather went too far trying to make it easy to pick up and made the shape worse imo, it's comfortable but I can't aim as well with it as the FK2.

Yeah, I dislike the Model O for the same reason. The profile is so slim and low that I can just barely hold the thing. It's too bad because MOW is such good value but I can't get used to the shape.

That’s why fk series just works, the sides are tilted in a way that you can easily pick it up. I got Fk1-C with side grips and the thing just MOVES. Definitely my endgame shape - Immortal in valorant by the way.

Vaxee and Zowie are the only companies that could charge that much for a wired mouse because their QC is on another planet. It's worth the extra 10-15 euros in my opinion. Most of the wired mice in the bracket just above them compromise in some way, whether it's the build (Model O), sensor (Ninjutso) or something else. You have to go into the 120+ euro category to get a wireless mouse with no compromises.

Zowies QC is always trash bro, bought EC3C 3 times last month on amazon for a properly working one....the 3rd one still has softer side buttons than the 2 before...I just give up and decide to keep it.

I used the Vaxee np01 for several months but idk the fk2 shape is juste incredible i juste came back to my old one with 3310 sensor and now this fk2 c came out . I might consider buying it but if zowie make their mice wireless and low weight it’s endgame

I got the EC3. I thought I was wasting money, but it is so much easier to aim to be honest. And the new material is better for grip. The other one would get slippery if your hand sweat. And the EC3 significantly lighter than EC2. The second they make this thing wireless, G Pro will be an afterthought.

70 grams for the FK2, it's right around the sweet spot. And shape/build quality>everything else. Also, cable is not that big of a deal 99.99% of the time.

I know saying these should be lighter is like preaching to the choir, but seriously 75g and above is not ideal for esports, or if you use your mouse for more than 4 hrs for gaming daily. No one is asking them to go magnesium and all, but damn these should have been around 60g and cable slightly thinner.

I don't think you can generalize that these are not ideal for esports. CS:GO is the most competitive game currently, and a lot of players are still using old generation ZOWIEs in CS. Magnesium is not a possibility for any company that mass produces mice.

I never saw anything as wrong as this. In CS, you have to push through the soreness, the pain etc and after a few months you can use a mouse for 10 hours a day. Even on 100g+ mouse. Do you realize I can lift dozens of kilos with my fingers alone ? Ofc lower weight "feels" different and adds a bit of mobility but don't tell me you can't play well with a 70-75g mouse but you can on a 60g instead you're a living meme ?

It doesn't really make a difference in practice if they'd have a 3370 or 3360. Though if the would've updated to the 3370, it would mean they are for sure coming out with wireless models soonish.

For me Model O sides feel very different to FK1 sides for me. FK1 is much more square while model o is rounded, i much prefer FK1

Great comparisons i will probably pick up the FK2C. But more excited for the EC2C, loving the EC3C and Prime wireless but still feel the need to switch to my good old EC2 somedays. Price is fine if you ask me, Zowie mice are built like tanks and last much longer than the cheaper zowie clones that last for a few or months (or less) before losing click feeling or starting to creak in my experience. I still have my EC2A that i used for over 3 years and it still feels like when it was new.

Great review. My first real mouse after the IE 3.0 (I hit global elite in 2015) was the OG zowie fk1. Might actually pick one up. But yea.... 70 Euro is a lot!

Welp now im stuck on what to try next. I loved the NP-01 but it's too heavy for me so I went back to a model o that I modded with a paracord and corepad skates. So I either get the model O wireless or spring for a superlight and mod it to my preferences. I was waiting for the updated FK series but I think wireless should be the best thing to go for next.

Wish they would do an fk3. I use a ducky feather in my rotation and like it a lot but wish it was a tiny bit shorter for my 18cm hands. Zowie always seems 2 years behind these days. They need to just make a wireless fk3 and za13 and be done with it :)

You might like the Pulsefire Haste, I liked it a lot coming from the FK2 and Feather but thought it was too short. Doesn't feel that much like the FK though.

I have FK2 for 6 years already, scroll wheel feels little unreliable, not registering very slow turn and material is a bit meh. I'd say that right ... or thumb side can't be better, but how does it compare to asymmetric mice such as ec2?

Could be, or it's just placebo. Pure PTFE feet are definitely faster than these!

Hello, please tell me which mousepad to take for the Zowie FK1+-B mouse, so that there is normal sliding and control? Now I have X-RAYPAD Aqua Control Plus Mousepad Grey Strata - XL, but it's already worn out and the sliding speed is different, which interferes.

Just picked up the fk1+-c since my steelseries sensei ten just died, they seem to be very similar in dimensions so fingers cross it will feel as good and last a bit longer then the 1 year my sensei did

The FK1 and the Model O are not exactly the same lol. The FK1 has more pronounced side curves where as the Model O is thicc and has slight curves. They are kind of similar in length but in terms of width they feel completely different. FK1 feels way more narrow due to the inward curves and the Model O is very wide. The Viper is pretty close to the Fk1 in terms of shape and curves but the Viper flares outwards near the front.
