@Mourning Star I suppose so, but I have no idea what point you're trying to make. Lots of performers have their material written for them. If an actor turns in an academy award winning performance he might thank writers and other people who are tangentially involved but the credit goes to the performer. Tom Hanks or Robert deniro or whoever gets the award. No one says hey, but so and so wrote all of his lines for him. Because you can write great material for someone but if it's delivered poorly it'll still suck. Besides, I'm not so sure Billy had it all written for him. His Raymond Burr, Ed McMahon, Marge schott and other voices come from him, not anyone else. Let's have Fred and Jackie deliver their own material they wrote and we'll see if it's as funny. I kinda doubt it.
totally agree, these are pretty much the only segments I can listen to these days.....back when the news was like half the show and they could all just riff off of each other!
Honestly I didnt hear stern for the first time until he first got on sirius. I agree the 90s were the best years of stern but I feel it really didnt start going down hill until Arties suicide attempt. I think its mainly due to the fact that at that point they had been on satelite radio for about 3 or 4 years and you figure by then they prettt much had done everything they couldnt do on terrestrial radio. Hell the year after artie was gone they celebrated october by calling it cocktober and it was prettt much all sal and richard bits

Howard talking about how good-looking this guy is over and over again. At one point he says he had a nice little nose and he was built.Obviously a gay man Howard Stern.
There was this one episode of his show where they hooked him and his staff to this gay lie detector thing to find out if they were honest about there hetero sexuality.. long story short KC tested positive for having tendencies and so did the rest of the staff on the show .. the only one to pass the test was Howard. Zero gay to him. He definitely seems comfortable with his sexuality.

School of Fish was a better band than these one-hit, wonder, MTV posers. Which is why Hoon wanted to be part of them. If Hoon hadnt been handsome, he wudnt even rate. Blind Melon may not have been the WORST band of the 90s. But in the grand scheme of the musical universe, BM will rate below even bigger losers like Coldplay.

I love Howard. I really do. I'm sure this just upsets me so much because I'm such a huge Shannon Hoon fan. But this seems like too much. I understand this is their format, but to joke about his baby daughter? Too much.
