We were honestly shocked and dumbfounded at the similarities between his thumbnail and ours when we got the notification for his upload, but we werent going to scrap the idea and our mock-up logo (Ballad of the Deep) just because Zeltik covered a similar idea. I would honestly love to sea a zelda game that mostly focuses on underwater exploration, I mean, I can already imagine how breathtaking and fintastic the levels would look like
Don't forget Labrynna which DESPITE having ended by modern times it could theoretically be refounded by Ralph's descendants very much ala Tetra and Rauru with their respective Hyrules.
I don’t care if it’s in this Hyrule or another land or another time entirely, I’m just so tired of the whole post-apocalyptic theme! All I wanted from TotK was to explore a thriving Hyrule with towns, buildings, people, communities. I’ve had enough of ruin. I want to experience this Hyrule before everything was destroyed, or maybe after they’ve had time to completely rebuild
Absolutely. I want a Hyrule (or another land) in its peak. Thriving. You can still have evil and chaos and malice but still show a powerful Kingdom in its fight against it. Would love sprawling towns, villages, cities, etc. - Andy (Red Link)
I want the Triforce to return. The Triforce was always Ganon/Power, Zelda/Wisdom and Link/Courage. It was said that the goddesses created the Triforce and left for the heavens. But what happened to the Triforce in BoTW and ToTK? Nothing mentioned as much. The triforce could be created in the future and the goddesses traveled to the past to leave the Triforce there and return to their time.
After taking the effort of pushing the timeline far beyond any connection to previous titels, I expect them to take the story into the future, rather than the past. Taking the next adventure into other lands, gives them the freedom to explore new ideas and to experiment with different geographies. Since traversal on large bodies of water has been already the main gig in previous titels, I wouldn't be surprised if underwater exploration isn't the main attraction next time.
I would love to see the next game star the same link and zelda (even better if the princess was playable) in another kingdom. Have a new villain instead of ganon, explore a story outside of the curse of demise. It could be like assassin's creed revelations where ezio (the star of assassins creed 2, brotherhood, and revelations) leaves italy and goes to constantinople where his trilogy ends. It'd be interesting to maybe find a branch of the zonai living in this other kingdom.
There's no way it will happen but.. I want Majora's Mask 2. I feel like theres so much more to explore with that mask after being taken away by the Happy Mask Salesman. I don't really trust his intentions. He seemed almost disappointed that the spirit had left the mask when he finally got it back. And maybe the spirit left but the mask itself is still susceptible to being taken over?
Majora’s Mask is one of my (Anthony) favorite games, right next to Tears of the Kingdom at #1. We originally mentioned Termina in the beta script of the video, but omitted it; however, I agree it would be great to explore Majora again, and that world!
As excited as I am for what Nintendo will decide to do for Zelda going forward, I'm saddened by the fact that we will most likely be leaving this version of Hyrule. Whilst the world is already so fleshed out, I feel like there is still so much more to be done, let alone the fact that we'll be leaving behind some really great plots and characters. I don't think it's a hot take to say that this version of Zelda (the person) is the best that we've ever had of her character.
4:44 A trilogy is not needed BOTW and TOTK was a composite re-telling of the Hero of Time legend However Link is a hero of many different legends Such as The Hero of Light I believe Aonuma is exploring that direction with the next Zelda project I think that with the way TOTK ended Aonuma created a genius segue into a new composite re-telling of The Twilight Princess legend 🤔
Hey! -- we were expecting this to get brought up atleast a few times. If you check our community tab on our channel, scroll 2-3 posts back and you'll see us posting about the video multiple days ago and then the day of Zeltik releasing his video (yesterday), you'll see the file properties timestamp of the thumbnail being made on Thursday. We had been scripting this video for the last 2 weeks.

Kinda sus to see this video with the “what’s next for Zelda” premise released a day after zeltik released the very same video. The thumbnails are strikingly similar as well… Just saying. One instance doesn’t necessarily mean it’s theft but the similarities…idk man

@@ratednBesides, it's not uncommon for content creators to talk about similar topics. After all, every possible topic about the games (save for more unhinged theories) has been covered already and talking about Zelda's future is a natural progression of the conversation.
I think Yona is from Termina. Think that should be the next step is termina. Vere away from hyrule and see what plots and stories termina has to offer.
