could be just me but i think it'd be nice if frost got cooler's 5th form as it could not only be really cool looking but it would also make frost a bulkier and harder to move fighter

I feel like Hit would train with Vados, with Champa sparring with him from time to time. Vados can rewind time among lord knows what else so it would work from that aspect. Plus them knowing Goku, Vegeta and Jiren among others are out there, would be the motivation.

That ending with the Erased Universe’s rebelling against Zeno and the Grand Priest that Carthu was talking about has already been made into a great fan-manga called Dragon Ball Kakumei, UnRealEntGaming has it on his channel and the art and storytelling is actually beyond good

I think it’s out of character for Vegeta to separate Kefla. He’d rather fight her head on. Or anybody for for that matter. Moro was a special case because he was constantly absorbing energy from the earth and other people. That’s why we haven’t seen him use it since the Moro arc.

The next tournament of power seems to be Vegeta's time to shine with forced spirit fission he probably is the ace of Universe 7 this time which goes in hand with his Ultra Ego.

Vegeta learning forced spirit fission is him finally saying “no more bullshit, we settle this with fists.”

Kinda off topic but I feel like exploring the other universes would be a nice way to introduce characters that we already know but with a new look and history like Janemba,Tapion,Pikkon etc

The thing with Forced Spirit Fission is I don't think it works on beings without spirits. So, for Agnilaza, maybe he can be separated into Paparoni and Koichiarator, but no more. Also, after the ToP, Universe 3 could send interuniversal spies and develop something more like Cell or the Androids.

Even with with force spirit fission I honestly see Vegeta using it only as a last resort because his Saiyan pride wouldn’t let him take such a easy way out unless he was all out of options

That idea with the 6 previously erased Universes rebelling sounds extremely interesting! It wouldn’t really work though, as Zeno would just be able to erase them all again. Except if there was a force behind that rebellion which would delay or prevent the erasure. I’ve always asked myself where the Grand Priest came from, and after reading about an extremely powerful Namekian who would be the “god of creation” of the multiverse I had come up with an idea: At the start of multiverse, there were 5 primordial beings that came to be with it. One was destruction (Zeno), one was creation (that would be the Namekian) another would be Time, next is Order (which I personally think is the Grand Priest, as he does practically everything for the Omni King) but the last one is the most interesting. I named that one Entropy, born to be everything and nothing, something which’s presence creates chaos and provokes change. There was a fight between these primordial beings, as the others tried containing Entropy so as to prevent the complete disorder it would surely bring. Being split up with the creation of the universes, it would be completely locked away with parts of it being destroyed by Zeno. But bringing back those 6 universes might awaken it.

I could see Freeza trying to recruit people from the other universes like 13-18. Because of his interest in controlling Broly, but failing to find him, could lead him to resort to finding other powerful warriors in other universes and enlisting their help.

I think spirit fission would work on piccolo , but only for defusing nail , as piccolo and kami were originally one being

That distinction about mortal levels at the start was very needed. I've seen too many people who think that U1, 12, 5 and 8 must be stronger just because they didn't have to compete in the tournament.

Something that would be interesting wold be learning about a hipotheticall U6 Buu. I mean, U6 and U7 are twin universes after all.

I'm interested in the Demon who killed Jiren's master. Maybe he's still out there and stronger than Jiren? Also, SSJ Blue U6 Saiyans, Golden Frost, and a Magetta with better nerves would be amazing. And the Trio of Danger could actually use their poison next time!

But there's one thing that there is still left to consider: prep time. Every universe only had so much time to find mortals that could compete in T.O.P. That increases with significance when you take into consideration the size of each universe (which is massive). With a lot more time, the gods of each universe could find, and train, better mortals than they did before.

It’ll probably be more like a proper tournament too with bracket systems and all that they could draw it out longer and speed it up with team matches where the final 3 or 4 members team up and try to defeat another team

Something I always thought about would be the G.O.D. and Angels taking initiative to get their mortals on the same level as the ones from universe 7. Since each universe has These gods it seems reasonable that they could train their fighters in a similar that whis did with Goku and Vegeta, or how the Kai's Trained gohan for a mystic form. Meaning by the next T.O.P. we could see other universes have fighters with God Ki, or even with their own version of Ultra Instict or Ultra Ego (Imagine Ultra Ego Toppo, Ultra Instict Dyspo, And Potential Unlocked Jiren).

Here's a few ideas 1) zeno probably won't make the same stipulations, meaning they won't make the losing universes disappear. So assuming the universes 13-18 are not actually brought back due to too much time passing already (which I believe was a point made in early dbz when trying to revive people with the dragon balls) zeno can make a tournament between universe 7 and the others that did not have to compete leaving out the others that already competed. Making the prize a wish again, but giving each universe their own reason for absolutely needing to gain that wish. 2) universe 2 now that they know their androids weaknesses takes inspiration from 17 and 18. They train a fighter, or fighters, modify them as androids but somehow use God energy or even angle energy to create them making the one fighter or a team of fighters as strong or close to that of a god of destruction. This could make one of the fighters go mad from the power creating a universal threat that other universe's end up teaming up to defeat. Making them the universe to worry about. 3) universe 6 becomes unstoppable because champa in order to beat beerus takes in and trains the saying personally along with frost. An idea I like is Champa finds a place like freeza did similar to the hyperbolic time chamber and allows them all to jump in power. I would like to see caulifa and cabba reach ssjb. Kale evolves her rage form to match broly's. Frost to reach gold at least (or the same level as gold, whatever color he uses). The namikins do some ancient training after the tournament now they have time, something that helps their power to grow so they both at least can match piccolo. Maybe replacing some members now they have more time to look for strong fighters, and their trump card would be hit. For him he explores his time power, but instead of rewinding time, he is able to cast a fastfoward on people, with limits like maybe only one person or 2 to 3 people at a time so that the person will gain the potential power he would have had in the future if he kept growing at the speed their bodies are use to. This would take a toll on hit, but someone like caulifla could potentially reach vageta ultra ego form this way and cabba could reach higher levels then ssjb2 and frost could reach freeza black or platinum form. Just a few ideas, let me know if any of these are good ones.

Something I've considered regarding a second tournament that includes the previously erased universes 13-18 is that there could be an interesting rule change for the second tournament: Universes doubling up as larger teams. This could mean for example that instead of being enemies again, Universe 6 ends up becoming Universe 7's allies since they are pair universes. Another thing to consider is that the teams might not be the same. Some universes might introduce new characters who have managed to grow stronger than the characters they've replaced since the last tournament, and some familiar characters such as Jiren may simply decide to drop out, forcing someone else to take their place. Keep in mind that in Jiren's case, the only reason he entered to begin with was because he wanted the wish for selfish reasons. He has moved on from that selfish desire, so the only reason he would return would be for the sake of teamwork. That depends strongly in how far along he's come in regards to that character arc however, and he may simply still see his universe ending as its natural fate should it fail to be defended, or he could be unconcerned with losing due to believing the same wish as last time would come to pass again. Take also into consideration if the doubled up teams idea comes to pass, which could trim down the number of fighters from each universe in half anyway.

Out of all the universes I’m most excited to see universe 6. I do think cabba will definitely peruse god ki, but I would want to see caulifla take a different approach to growing stronger. As for universes 13-16 I do want to see them comeback and cause a ruckus similar to the buu saga, but I think it’s unlikely. A issue with the previous tournament of power was us getting to see all of these different characters but not have the time to get to know them. So if the previously erased universes do return I’d like for us to see more of the other universes and learn more about the inhabitants of them first.

I concur on the universe 4 part of your video as there was one person on the team other then the two mentioned that had the potential to pose a threat to even Goku himself at some point the one who fought master roshi

I wonder if Vegeta would even use Forced Spirit Fission, with his pride and all. I can see him not using it to make a fight more interesting (or maybe because the T.O.P. is about survival, he wouldn't use it to let his opponents have a better fighting chance). However, I can also see him using it and telling his opponents that they should fight him using their own strength. 🤔

As usual your videos are insightful as always, but only one small query I have and that is the 6 previous universes retuning. As much as it would be so sick to have them return in the manga it was straightforward that it was only the 12 universes that came back nth more you could reread that manga T.O.P ending just to be safe

Man I would be really curious about how strong the other universe would be in the next TOP, especially U6 and U11. 🤔 But ah man, I really like the idea of U13-U18 interrupting the TOP to rebel against the Zeno, and the different universe have choose which side they are on. 😁

Carthu, I get how Forced Spirit Fission negs most fusion characters, but how de-fusing the Universe 6 namekians be officiated? Would Universe 6 be disqualified, or would the team that de-fused them be disqualified? I imagine the former, but the context of fuzed namekians feels way different considering their fusions are more like absorbtions and meant to be permanent. EDIT: I say "disqualified" because of the max allowed team members

If there's ever a new Tournament of Power, I think they should switch up the format. Maybe instead of a battle royale it can be team matches. You could either split each universe in teams of two, or the more fun option, mix them for some fun character interactions.

I think the power of the mortals and the other universes that didn't have to participate is somewhat of a factor. I think in the manga it's either the Grand Priest or someone who says that Zeno was happy that the lower level universes could produce strong mortals like Goku and Toppo I believe. That could be off on who it was they were talking about but it was something along those lines. So it may be SOMEWHAT of a factor.

That last theory is literally the fan manga Dragon ball kakumei and it would be awesome to see!!

Given the bigger power potential in certain universes compared to others, I could imagine they’d limit a future ToP to 4 universes, as that would allow for tighter development and a slower run time, both many complained the first ToP lacked. Due to the current listing on mortal levels, it might not be consistent, but including Universes 2, 6, 7 and 11 feels like the best choice.

I think it'd be pretty smart to have most of universe 7 be eliminated and have Goku be forced to team up with another universe to ensure they aren't all wiped off the map by another malicious universe (Potentially 15-18 like you mentioned)

If they do bring back the old erased universes, those universes should try to cheat in the tournament to get what they want. And I want Frieza to able to relate to them.

You know, i'd always imagine a scenario where a new tournament of power would happen- But like you said- It could get interrupted any time since my main suspect for a troublemaker would be black frieza, as cringey as this may sound. A scenario where the self-proclaimed Emperor would try his second chance at taking the super dragon balls for himself wouldn't be unrealistic, frieza does want to surpass beerus after all.. With his newly trained power and form he could easily be tolerated into the tournament as Zeno would be easily entertained, who knows.. The end of this tournament might be something else than Jiren for a final boss..

SO glad Carthu explained mortal levels It really runs dull when someone spews out about how these universes were left out because of their high mortal levels and how strong they could be when in reality mortal levels being a measurement of quality of life means less violent god-level threats and would therefore lead to softer and squishier mortals that never needed to get strong and fight

Next Tournament of Power: How to beat Forced Spirit Fission

I'm a bit late to the comments, but anyway... if you see this, a 'what if' idea I have been thinking about is; 'What if Goku focused more on techniques then transformations' so like... perfecting the spirit bomb and kaioken, learning forced spirit fission in addition to instant transmission, adding the stardust breaker to his main attacks, etc. I just think it would be interesting to see a version of Goku that wins fights by clever usage of the tools at his disposal instead of through overcoming his limits.

Something to note, as much as I understand that Vegeta has an ability to shut X,Y,Z down. He cant be everywhere at once. Plus lets say Kefla gets a rematch with Goku, he wouldnt want Vegeta to weaken his opponent. Which would be great if it led to him losing to Kefla. Showing how much stronger they have gotten, and making the score 1-1

Say Carthu I got a question for you. What do you think would have happened if Goku got his potential unlock by Guru back in the Freeza arc?

There's so much potential in the idea of the other universes teams for an hypothetical ToP 2. Of course I'd love some character development for all of them, both from the past ToP but also from maybe some new arcs based in their universes if we are lucky. Anyway, from each universe I'd love to see: - From U2 I'd love new transformations for Ribrianne and her friends (maybe even the three guys that got them in the anime) that mimic other magical girls tropes. I also want an explaination for why there are a Yardratian and a Tuffle in there and some new powerups for them as you said. - From U3 I'd love new modifications for their fighters based on what they learned from our androids in order to cook up some Cell Max level thing. I wouldn't mind even some new very smart and logical fighter. Also some info about Maji Kayo being U3 version of Buu(?) - From U4 I'd love to see more tricksters being properly utilized, give me more things like Shantsa, Damos and Gamisaras. - From U6 there is so much I'd love, like a more powerfull time-bending Hit, Platinum Frost, SSJ3 sayans (with controlled Kale), something interesting with Botamo and Magetta and finally I want a Moro-level Dr Rota! - From U9 I really want more of the Trio de Dangers, give them a new powerup and nee techniques like the ones they showed in the exhibition match. - From U10 well there really isn't much I want to see from them outside of a couple of them, but remember that they betted everything on brute strength last time, so this time they could go for a completely different team or strategy. - From U11, as you said, I'd love a more powerful Dyspo and Jiren and Belmond replacing Toppo, but I also would love to see more teamwork tactics from the other Pride Troopers like in the manga when they almost defeated Kale despite being much weaker.

Video suggestion up to you Carthu if you wanna do it. What if Gohan was sent to beerus planet, via raditz space pod.

Having Jimizu be the main threat making use of countless crazy techniques that completely mixes up battles would be great.

So if there was a tournament interruption I feel like it could go 2 ways…either we could have a Dragon ball Kakumei type of story or if they just wanted to save time the Zeno’s would just destroy all of them But I feel like the other universes competing would be really cool to see considering that they might have Jiren level mortals

Also jiren did all of his training alone because he thought that was the best way to get stronger but as we know you get way more results with a partner and if he has access to a similar Room of spirit and time who knows what will happen
