I recently became interested in this music after watching the movie, "Rock and Rule", and I'm looking for more music like it. this is the closest i've found to it and I'm not sure what to call it. Is it called "retrowave"?

Synthwave/Retrowave is the term for it, but you can also listen to 80s music from the actual 80s - both choices work because they're great. You have a good taste! I love the reference to ELO; Electric Light Orchestra as the names sound very similar. This song has a very 80s feeling to it, and since synthwave is one of my favorite genres, usually you don't hear vocals in the songs, so this is what gives it this charm. It also sounds like the vocals were recorded from the 80s and are being used as a vocal track to the song. I love everything about it.

I'm 48 now and I was 14 in 1985. The 80's was this and absolutely different from this. But... it's the definitive version of what's left of the 80's in the deepest of me. The exact vibe, the perfect sensation. I f... love these guys, oooooh yes !!! ^_^
