The Night Journey - Story Of Muhammad - Reaction (Dr. Yasir Qadhi) (The Daily Reminder) 

The night journey is probably my favorite. When I’m sad or distress I just think about the prophet Muhammad (SAW) and the night journey and walahi soon after I feel so much better mashaallah. Truly we are blessed to be his followers alhamdulillah 🤲

For reference and clarification: Yahya is John in Arabic (Jesus’s cousin) Isa is Jesus in Arabic Yusuf is Joseph son of Jacob Haroon is Aaron Moses’s brother Musa is Moses Ibrahim is Abraham Yajooj and majooj is Gog and Magog in Arabic Also you mentioned Eman (when Gabriel washing the heart) and didn’t know what it was it’s faith in Arabic 😊

You have a really good memory for someone who doesn’t speak arabic and only hears the word once. You should watch this entire series from start to finish because it explains the life of the Prophet pbuh from the start of his life until the end

At 35:25 you mentioned the thought you had used to help alleviate your stress at work, which was basically to remind yourself that god never gives us a situation that we cannot handle. I found this very interesting since this idea can be found in the holy Quran at the beginning of Chapter 2 (Surah Al-Baqarah or "The cow") verse 286 : "Allah does not burden any soul with more than it can bear: each gains whatever good it has done, and suffers its bad".
