The NIGHT-WATCHMAN - Fritz Honka - Hamburg Red Light Killer 

Well my friends RU-vid has demonetised this video as well, which they did even when it was on private. Demonetised videos do not get promoted, so they do not reach a larger audience - only the subscribers if they are notified, (“if” being the highlighted word here. ) This acts a type of ‘cattle prod’ to coerce creators to make videos that 5% of the population won’t be offended by. I even received a notification asking me if I would like to ‘change’ my video before posting it… the answer is a resounding NO! Thank goodness I have the support of my Patreon community and don’t have to rely on such brainwashing tactics.

This is ridiculous. RU-vid needs to stop with this algorithm as it doesn’t understand the concept of unique creativity and fascination with taboo. Great work as always Oddie, you give much more intricate details about the man himself than the crimes so I can better understand his motives. Very insightful.

Your videos are some of the best on RU-vid. It's absolutely ridiculous that they keep demonetising them. Your stories are historical and accurate. Meanwhile RU-vid lets hateful and misinformation channels run rampant. RU-vid is ridiculous.

I am from Northern Germany- about 40 min from Hamburg! My dad would always tell me the story of Honka and another Serial Killer from Hannover! And he would warn me not to EVER be alone in the streets or to go out with strangers! These horrible incidents were all over the news then! And I always headed my dads advice- he scared me good . Even til now! Thank you for reporting about a crime that has long been forgotten about. These poor women deserve their story to be told and never to be forgotten about! Especially feminize is growing more and more and often people just want to forget! The outcome of these poor victims scared me straight even until today! Isn’t it weird and sad that because of others discrimination the story was bought that strange spices were the culprit instead of thinking ahead? Well told and so many details I had no clue about! There was a movie made about Honka called the Goldene Handschuh! I Never saw it- the story was just too gruesome! But the way you tell these stories easier to take! If at all! Some of these places are still open and running! Thanks for an amazing video ! Btw. RU-vid is really ticking me off! You deserve the recognition for your hard work! You truly deserve better! 🤬

It's crazy that this would be demonetized. It's a 50 year old story that has nothing to do with any of the divide and conquer issues going on today. I really don't understand it. Great work as always. Beautiful presentation.

That awful odor of decomposition never fades completely. A man in my complex died alone in his apt. Nobody knew for a week. When the door was broke down, the odor filled the building.

He must not have minded the smell. To blame the smell on Greek cooking, is such an insult to the Greek people! I love Greek food, much of it is with garlic, lemon & Local herbs. Well, Oddie. “Pound stores” are now called “Dollar Stores” in the USA. In the past they were called a “Five and Dime”! Of those stores, “Ben Franklins Five and Dime” was one of the biggest chains. A decomposing body has a sickly sweet smell like nothing else. When I lived with my sister one summer every time we passed the roller skating rink I would tell her there was someone dead there. She finally called the police and I talked to a investigator who agreed to go out and look around. Behind the building they found a young man who had been missing for several weeks. He had hung himself. If you ever smell it once then you will never forget that smell.

I cannot believe that people could live with the stench of 4 rotting bodies. Once, I had a dead bird stuck in my chimney, and the stench was overpowering from such a little body! However, what I can believe is that these women were not missed. There are these seedy parts of any town, where, of course, you do not go, do not want to know anybody, do not make friends etc. Thus these women being older and prostitutes, chances are high that there is no close family involved that would report them missing. This guy is the creepiest ever, this story is total nightmare fuel ! Thank you Oddie a story I had never heard of. It’s strange that police have a hard time finding women who go missing ,into thin air after spending time with a rapist. Sad indeed that certain women/ men are not looked for when lost or missing.

I love how it's 'demonitised' by RU-vid yet there's an ad every 3 or 4 minutes at most--first one 2 minutes in. Obviously I have no idea how RU-vid works at that end of things, but come on now. That aside, I always get excited for your videos, so many stories that I've never heard of while other docs are rehashing the zodiac killer and ted bundy for the ten zillionth time!

Another great video! There is absolutely nothing gore or “offensive” in it, YT has gone completely NUTS! Just a few hours ago I watched a video here on YT about Medieval torture, and it had so much blood and the detailed explanation of each and every technique, that it made my stomach turn! Another great video! This German serial killer reminded me alittle of John Wayne Gacy who buried his victims, 33 of them, in his crawl space. Gacy's former house near Chicago was demolished. I wouldn't want to live or build anywhere near it! 👻 😮

In America we called them '5 &10 Cents' stores, where everything was cheap. As a kid, I loved those stores because they had a lot of good stuff, especially stationary. I would buy various notebooks and pencils for school. Some pencils were a foot long and some erasers were huge (like the size of cellphones). Kids liked that stuff and would show them off in school.

I find it interesting that many violent criminals had extropia (“wall-eye”), which I wonder if it came about because of a brain injury at some point. Of course I’m not saying that all people with the condition are violent. It’s often just a weak eye muscle that shouldve been treated in childhood. But start looking at mugshots & you’ll see it a lot.

Well, being a heavy drinker, he had lost his sense of smell (which really occurs with acute alcoholism!) and as well, he didn´t eat much to nothing at all (remind he was also a heavy smoker): the appetite diminishes almost to zero … Anyway, one of your greatest videos and I really can´t understand why youtube demonitised it 🤔
