I disagree. I really like this siluete and I think that represents the style of dbook 100%. Since Jordans I think this is the first show that can be wear on and off court and I think that is what dbook was trying to accomplish. With new coloreas like nike dunks this shoes will. be a banger. Nailed in my opinion.

I didn't like it, but I'm surprised how negative everyone else's reactions have been. People have been bleating for years about how performance shoes can't be worn casually anymore, and here comes a shoe designed specifically to resemble one of the most popular casual shoes of all time, but it gets shit on for it. People don't know what they want.

Majority hating aren't even ppl who play ball or do but say "no originality, they dropped Kyrie and PG" for this" even tho 1 their shoes were literally the same shit the following models and secondly ppl who don't ball you'd think this design element would cater to em. Then they also complain on price its like bruh your paying $150 for something you can rock on and off the court ya getting your money's worth lol. Python and leather material, one tone colors and a classic silowhette. They honestly look better than the af1's as well. Ill be buyin fs

Nike rethought the Air Force 1 in the late 90s with a silhouette showing the air sole. I really liked it. I think Steve Nash wore the low version in one of the SLAM articles on him. I hope Nike will bring it back.

Maybe a hot take, but I like the look of the shoe, maybe the all orange look isn’t doing it any favors, but with a different colorway these are fire, plus the tech reminds me of Kobe 4s, and these are gonna be much easier to get than Kobe protros.

Modern day kobe nikes would probably be zion 3s with the drop in midsole and the shape. Can't wait for that to come out! Zion 3s look like a knock off wow3 ultras which was also compared to kobes. The midsole on the books definitely looks like the kobe ad mid

Ngl the shoe design looks better without the pull tab & if the outsole wrapped around towards the inside of the shoe then there wouldn’t be any complaints, but the tech has me itching to get a pair

As a hooper, I did NOT like these initially. Especially being a big fan of Kobes, KD's etc. But for whatever reason, they have grown on me quite a bit. From the marketing, to seeing book wear it casually during ASW and hooping in them. I kinda dig the way they look. Could also just be me going against the general opinion of people that makes me wanna like em even more 😂

Yeah fact Phil Knight was seen with Book and this shoe design shows this his last hurrah Nike finally getting their shit together. This exactly what we wanted back on and off the court lifestyle. Even Ja 1's feel classic. His line will improve and evolve after the 1's. I think they look great. And your bringing back leather? Please no stupid over the top/loud colorways. Kyrie shit came and went

Back half looks like a blazer mid. Front half looks like a AF1. Hopefully the Cushlon 2.0 is nice. People complain about ball shoes not being able to wear casually. Nike tries to do it with these but then people hate. You can’t please everyone. I’m personally find them meh, maybe a better colorway will change my mind.

In Dirk's time it was diff, nike were strictly just having KD, Kobe and Lebron as their sigs and everyone else you get hyperdunks or whatever nike offers to them. They just really started giving sigs other than those 3 since Kyrie

Personally, I think there’s absolutely nothing wrong with the sneaker. I think it looks simple and I like that about the shoe. I think a part of the reason for the design was also so it could be worn on and off the court. A shoe that works great and looks good as a basketball shoe but also a shoe that you can wear casually.

This reminds me of you know anything about Nike sb shoes their biggest signature model is the janoski everyone on the team loved them and when it was time for Shane O’Neil to get his shoe all he rocked was those so what did Nike make for him a 2.0 version of that shoe… some people just dont actually need a shoe with there name on it if they like a shoe that’s already out that much just to remake it with some tiny ascetic changes… Nike classic cash grab!
