the 33 is so criminally under rated. its such a beautiful car from almost every angle. i personally find it to be more astatically pleasing then the more praised 300z.

*It’s really sad to see the R33 getting hated on. It’s my favorite generation and, theoretically, it should be able to reach higher speeds than the other generations due to it being having a more aerodynamic shape compared to the almost boxy R32 and R34. It also has a longer wheelbase so it should theoretically be more stable at high speeds as well.* *Oh, and the R33 generation gave us the 400R and the GTR LM.*

Most likely those unknown chassis could have been crashed and totaled. Hence why there are no records. Or they are owned by private collectors who wont reveal their name and location of their prize possesion and to be locked away in a garage or vault. REINIK you can say is a 3rd party engine builder made the RB-X engine. The engine was used in LeMans 24hr race, Pikes Peak, and other forms of motorsports. There was one super rare road legal R33 called the GT-R R33 LM for the GT1 car series.

So - if there are supposedly 44 chassis’ made, I wonder where the remaining 4 chassis’ are as they don’t appear on the GTR-Registry website?

This makes me want to drive one if these cars. But the only downside is that if I drive it on the right side in the U.S I need some sort of device to make sure it's miles per hour. I don't know much about Kilometers per hour and I don't want to run the risk of being pulled over and being accused of speeding meanwhile I didn't know how to calculate the speed limit in metric aka km/h.

A satellite based gps will tell you and you can always hook up an extra gauge or display that you have off to the side for miles per hour. Or you can replace the whole gauge cluster and go full digital

R-Tune R34 is not that rare. All you do is ask NISMO to get R1/R2 Specification for it, then you've to pay total cost to do it for you, and boom.

@@Ren_1106 This specific silver R34 R-Tune was converted at the Omori factory and is very rare - less than 44 in total! Not as cool as a 400R maybe, but awesome all the same.

Also, chassis #021 is the example to avoid buying, as it has had a full chassis strip and rust repair on the engine bay and sills. Unfortunately, tell-tail signs are the colour is slightly wrong, and there is still a lot of rust in the trunk. Such a shame as it only has 13,500km on it :(

@@TheRacingJoker judging under the bonnet/hood everything was "nismo stock" but he did have a little retune on it as some people say. It also had little MINE'S decals on the front bumper and front fenders, which I guess is now removed.

Iirc the legal R34s are in the west coast of LA Cali region. FL may be legal.
