Can't wait for the delta wolf reviews, there is so little info on them, especially in .25 , keep up the brilliant work that you are putting in because it's really informative and helpful
@@TripleGRogerLait hi Roger , I don't know how technology works and don't know if people can see this message so I aren't going to put my personal details on the message but if you can reply to me in private , I would like to invite you to a place that when you get your delta wolf set up, you could try it out on a target rich environment, more rabbits and jack's than you have ever seen
Only telling the truth , all guns have faults although some people don’t like you talking about them ? Sorry but I need to tell the truth . That’s just me .
Have many FX. Great guns, but I jumped ship. Just got my first Daystate, the Alpha Wolf Safari in .22. AMAZING rifle. I'm wanting a 25 slug gun, and this just sold me. Absolutely my next Daystate.
I love the fact you spoke the truth on the FX gun and didn't ass kiss like the rest off the 😘 That gun and of course your awesome skills didn't miss a beat with anything you stuck down its barrel great gun. I didn't like the leanth. Awesome gun tho. Great programme as always 👍 👍 👍 😜 🏴 🦄 🎣 😁 🤞 ✌️
That’s so kind . I am hear to tell the truth . I like the FX guns and no mistake . My Impact is an amazing gun and when it’s bang on , it’s off the hook . When it starts mucking about , it’s a right pain ! My Reg is all over the place at the moment for no reason , I have never run the gun hot , not once and yet it’s all over the shop . Such a pain !!
Hello Friend I can totally agree I have both guns in.25cal.my safari is the gun that I grab most of the time because I trust it,the gun just shoots everything very well,my impact mark.2 has every upgrade there is but every time I shoot it there seems to be a little change somehow now granted I live in the u.p of Michigan and our weather changes every five minutes it seems and it constantly changes velocity,I’m going to wait and get the delta wolf as soon as I know they have all the little bugs worked out,it’s very hard to beat daystate guns,at least the safari I have love the gun just go shoot and be happy.thanks for your videos I enjoy them.
Have never been interested in getting an fx because of the faffing about tuning that you mentioned. That safari look's fantastic! Put's my sub 12"lb revere to shame! Loved Heavy d. Ha!!
totally agree! I have 2 fx guns and both have problems out of the box. one of them i changed the regulator to a huma and no problem since. but for the price of the guns you shouldn't have to do that. daystate is awesome I just bought one and no issues. I will never buy another fx again....great video, thanks
I am not having a go at FX , I am just telling the truth is all . From my experience this is what I have learnt . Mine is bit a year old and had been amazing , it’s now just mucking about and the Reg is being a pain , I don’t even run my gun hard either ?
The electronics in Daystate are amazing Roger, but I prefer the mechanical action on my Wolverine R. Lothar Walther barrels just work, whatever the calibre or power. I shoot HFT and it really flatters my ability. Cheers 👍
Thank you for the video Roger A lot of valuable and educational information I can ask you at what speed is more or less with the 40 gr Thank you I hope for your next video greetings
Yet another great vid...I didn't realize you could pole volt with a Daystate....your still cracking me up...an yes too long an why don't Daystate have removable bottles crazy....have a word with them mate...
It was windy as you like , the weather was shocking ! The gun is AMAZING, that gun has done groups like you would never believe . My Red Wolf now does the same thanks to a guy at AOA . The Safari is just an out the box beauty . So so accurate . Pellets , slugs … the lot !
I'm new to air guns. I dont know a lot. I bought the FX Maverick sniper in 25 cal. I set the rear regulator at 105, and the front regulator at 135. It took me about 20 minutes. I got that setup from shooter 1721. It shoots everything up to about 40 grains great. It produced about 62 FPE. I didn't buy the impact, because its complicated, too many orings. 580cc tank with that setup you'll get at least 125 shots. The Maverick is also accurate as hell. I wanted a Daystate, but the models I wanted were out of my budget, for a first time PCP purchase. Is there an A.R.T. tune on this gun? Beautiful gun I'll have one some day.
Just found this site, man you are great craic, loved the video, something different, still crying with laughter, good value. Take care stay safe and keep it lit.👍 my friend
I bought a Daystate Safari 25 from Airguns of Arizona. Out of the box the stock was falling off which wasn’t a deal breaker but for completeness I want to mention. Anyway, I mounted up my favorite scope, added bipod to the prs rail I bought and put it though it’s paces at 40 yards. The safari was a pleasure to cycle and looked beautiful, but sadly it could not hold a ~2 inch group on any power setting with the mainstream pellets or slugs. I worked with AOA for months to get it fixed as clearly it was a lemon out of the box. You may ask was it my technique, well I’m not going to bore you with my experience or ability, but comparing my daystate pulsar .25 at 40 yards is laughable, the pulsar is stupid accurate without trying. Early days AOA assured me that they’d fix it but would understand if I wanted a refund, I opted to fix/return, they changed the barrel once but it still shot like garbage. Noting that the safari was inaccurate and AOA could not fix I felt that a refund was fitting…..this is where AOA showed their true colors and demanded I pay the restocking fee for a lemon! >$500. DO NOT buy anything for AOA and do not buy the safari is my advice. Oh I also contacted Daystate about the situation, Daystate remain silent….therefore I will not be buying any daystate’s in the future. Avoid Airguns of Arizona and Daystate.
That’s a shame . I must be honest Daystate UK are not my biggest fan and I am not there’s what so ever. AOA however have always been ok with me so I can’t say anything there . My buddies .25 Safari is by far the best 25 high power air gun I have ever shot . It’s super accurate and works a treat , it’s even better now than when I made this vid . In the mean time my Red wolf has broken and I know I can’t get the parts from Daystate UK which as you can imagine is rather annoying . What a shame .
Loving the reviews and because of this one i have just got a Safari, question do you know what mounts are on the one in your review. Keep the videos coming.
Are you saying that a FX Impact Mk III cannot hold stable air pressure even for 24 hours? You did say that. I don't have one but cannot believe they would be so popular if what you say is true. The warranty work to correct that would be inconceivable.
Hi Roger. Good review as always. How many shots do you get from a single fill. I take it it’s not multi adjustable like the Impact, if it’s not that’s good it’s the single thing that puts me of owning an Impact. My Crown in fac 25 shoots sweet with minimal ‘fiddling’ good stuff Roger. 👍
The Safari shoots 35 shots really well . There are 3 settings only , slow , medium and fast . We stick to fast really ? The impact with the tune I have at the moment is ace , it’s running 56 ft/lb and I get 4 mags from a full full which is over 100 shots . I have got the 580 bottle which helps . Other than the reg mucking about , it’s an ace gun . 👍👍
Sadly that’s not right . It would not differ that much . I alway let my gun get to the ambient temperature before i shoot anyway . It’s the reg mucking about
Ok i only liked the revere cause it looks like a real forearm. This one is sexy but for the love of god can they please start hiding the cans 😂 i dont want to see them...its 2024 surely we can find ways around that
You can have this in Canada. I have the red wolf standard (45fpe) but could have bought the ReWolf safari at 65fpe if I wanted. Airgun source has them, the shroud is just for looks in Canada. No sound suppression, but even so my 45fpe RedWolf is pretty quiet.
Never shot the Safari, but if it is even better than the standard then it would be awesome!! I have put 40 shots with Jsb 18g pellets into 1" hole at 90 meters with mine. I love this thing.
I had that issue with my .25 cal MK1 Impact but it settled down, bedded in and it is now "that gun". Always 145bar on the reg and always shoots a cloverleaf group at 50m (conditions permitting). It took a bit of tinkering and tightening to make sure the o-rings and seals were not leaking, but once it was right, it was right. Deffo not fantastic out of the box by any stretch and that's abysmal for a gun in its price range. Screws loosened in transit etc...just cos they couldn't be bothered with a threadlock - lazy.
U must have a bad impact, I have 4 and they all shoot perfect, right out of the case, I even have let them set for a couple months, and the they are spot on. I shoot 36.2's at 1000fps, 47.2's at 975 and 30gr .22 at 1000fps, they never ever miss a beat, I hunt only with them, love ur videos, keep up the good work!
Lucky you. I've only had one FX that was right out of the box. That was a tarantula from the early 90s. Have bought plenty since because I like to tinker. But once set-up, they do well. All in all I like my Raws and Daystates quality compared to the new age FX rifles.
That’s odd, mine has been perfect. My 30 cal mk2 is extremely accurate and my m3 25 cal. Might be better. I’ve had zero problems and I love them both, I must be lucky
Wait a min so it’s your .25 red wolf drop them a line and say ballbearing and spring not installed in the breach block you should get the red wolf fixed FREE OF CHARGE make sure you get yorre point across YOU HAVE NOT STRIPED THE GUN DOWN I’m not talking about the multi shot tray, I’m talking about shoot shoot shoot with out having to touch the safety switch after every shoot This is the tell-tail sign the gun is faulty
Go on Roger boy. Your grate mate sound as fuck and can take a joke. Ha Roger can you help me. I want to know if I can shoot slug's through sub 12 air arm s410 please can you find out as Your the man to ask
Roger Roger Roger , after watching this video I’ll get on to the twist rate in a min, i no why your gun is not shooting after about 2 to 3 seconds as you no today I talked about buggered guns delta and my wait for it safari my gun had to go in for the safety not working the switch just flopped back and forward , why the factory forgot to install the ball Bering and spring plus wait for it there is another set near the back of the breach block one ball Bering and spring in other words 2 sets the breach block set works your trigger and cancels out your multi shot when the safety is set to fire Not only that the buggers removed my Rowan Engineering single short tray I never got it back I could not understand why they removed it till I put all the jigsaw 🧩 and understanding to how the gun works daystate came to my range to fix it as I also had a seal in the barrel that was stuffed I could not load anything into the barrel on single shot So that gun needs sending back to daystate a heads up remove the safari stock first mine came back damaged Tony Bealis stepped in and see get this stock changed the stock is 750 from the factory add another 200 buying it from a store I hope this helps you Pal Twist rate sub 12 .177 I use 10.34gr I like these the next sub 12 Red Wolf coming out is ART barrel I think a removable bottle and USB-C charging point as you no will fire anything my 2 Heritage limited additions have got the AR T barrel s.
@@TripleGRogerLait hmmmm...i didnt know that...it says heavy on the tin..and 20 plus grn on a .22 ..i thought was heavy and .25 not being much bigger, 33 seems heavy to me..thanks for the info..we all learn.i just need to start shooting .25s..keep up the good work.👍
@@POINTSOFAIMcheekyscouser I thought the same as you buddy . I thought 30 odd grain was heavy ... then I looked at the different weights available and realised that 30 is light . Have a look at Neilson slugs buddy. He does some heavy heavy slugs in .25 😃😃
I will get it fixed . It’s just the reg mucking about . I will get it sorted . It’s a good gun and no mistake , it just needs some looking after is all
The Daystate seems way more nicer than the FX. However it is a David Crokett rifle. A barrel that is 17” and a silencer system that goes down to the scroud to almost touching the bottle would makes this system into a woodwalker gun. Right now it is a benchgun or benchmachine.
Your videos are always informative, down to Earth 🌍 straight to the point and no BS. Always enjoy watching them. I have had great experience so far with my FX Impact MK II .30 Caliber with the Power Plenum and 700mm barrel. I really like the Daystate Safari. It is a beautiful and awesome rifle. The simplicity that you are speaking of is the same concept as my Air Arms S510XS .22 Caliber and my .177 caliber. Keep the great videos coming.
Let me tell you something ... in 22cal it shoots almost every slug ... NSA 20gr or 23 or 24.8gr or 27.5gr ... h&n 23gr 25 or 30 Javelin up to 30gr ... jsb knockout... I am talking 1 inch groups at 100 yards ... if your barrel is clean ... worst case scenario is 2 inches at 100 yards ... but you can get even better results if you have the tuning device ...
I have shot one and yes they very accurate. This however is the next stage up . It’s super accurate and just keeps stacking slug on slug at silly distances
Great video many thanks this has made my mind up , was thinking fx impact or maybe the Boss as my mate shoots a Daystate wolverine in .30 Awesome gun , definitely the safari now but going the other way smaller cal .177 floating my boat at the moment . As soon as the gun shops are open I'm there chop one of my others in , variation, happy me 🤞fingers crossed. Keep these great videos coming
Nice shooting Mr. Lait...... that Safari is a keeper... well for your mate anyways. Great video as always. Can't wait for the next one, keep them coming...🍻
I found the same thing that the Safari liked the 40 grain but was shooting a little slow for my liking . The Safari also likes a slug at 31.5 grain also and had a fare amount of speed to boot , I for one am looking forward for the JSB KOs in the MK2 version to arrive here in the USA .
@@TripleGRogerLait Hearing your comments on the Impact confirmed my belief that as great as the FAC impacts are owners will have to do some amount of tuning. The fact your regulator was also playing silly buggers was quite off putting too. If I’m successful in my FAC application for a .30 FAC air and a second slot for .25 barrel I’m now thinking of sacking off the Impact for DeltaWolf or RTI PROPHET. I’m very much looking forward to your upcoming review of the DW once you receive it from AOA. I’d like something like the Safari or DW which is far more off the shelf shootable and the presets in the DW interface should allow for that I hope. All the best
@@airriflevermincontroluk5027 mine was playing about loads again ? Goodness knows why though ? Such a shame . It’s a great gun and shoots really well . The Safari just works . It’s really good, really good !!
temperature is a variable to consider, I have an impact and it always varies by about five BAR. Early in the morning 110 BAR (15° Celsius) and in the afternoon it is 115 BAR (24° Celsius), which is normal. Simple chemistry.
It’s a long gun and then some. Maybe the barrel needs to be that long to make it as good as it is ? I certainly is too ! Such an accurate gun out of the box ! I really like it .
@@TripleGRogerLait barrel needs to be 600mm to get the speeds required. That is the Beauty of the impact design long barrel but short gun. I’m going to get the new crown GRS,this has tempted me but not quite tempted enough 😂
