I love your struggle with the pineapple, looks cute! Also, I'm going to try this. It might be slow, but it's certainly a lot cleaner than peeling it with a knife.
Fun fact: pineapples are what's known as an aggregate fruit. Each little spike is not part of a whole fruit, but rather one individual fruit that's fused with neighbouring fruits. Other examples include raspberries, blackberries and strawberries (sort of).

Her facial expressions reflect what I was feeling on each stage. Doubt (srsly, how's this supposed to work?), pain (press down really hard on an ananas? Not pleasant for someone with delicate skin!) and finally, relief and satisfaction because it actually worked. Perfect!!!
Ummmm That top had definitely already been twisted hard because it moved when she barely touched it. The pineapple had obviously also already been rolled hard because she gentle rolled it and juice poured out. Not her first time messin with this pineapple! But looks yum.
@@Ms.NoNo2 if it works so well why would she need to do it beforehand? Should just be able to authentically do it for the camera. If it’s not-so-easy and needs to be done beforehand to “save time” then just be real with us and show us what the process looks like.

@@Ms.NoNo2Because It’s deceptive. There is no way the average person is twisting the top off a pineapple without straining! Also, it is not easy to pull a section out no matter how hard you roll it. That section was cut.
It's a cool trick but not effective. It's messy first of all, second it shreds the pineapple into long strands. I don't know why everyone is always so confused about how to open a pineapple. Cut off the skin with a knife. Then cut from the top to the bottom beside the core in 3 or 4 cuts.
I noticed that as well , and definitely not just “a really ripe fruit” you can clearly see that when she rolls it the juice is mainly coming out of the portion that she’s going to be pulling the piece out of and not universally throughout the whole thing. Totally fake!

Yeah it's a bit like "you can get the butter on the bread without a knife" sure, that's possible, but my hands will be sticky and the result less good, so why would I?
