I love how she is a true makeup artist, but unlike all of the other makeup artists on youtube, she understands that not everyone can get all these products and we learn with her, instead of all the same-old 'tips' the others tell us.

Yes, Lisa is a wonderful make up artist and Andreea Ali as well. I am in the middle of those two so it is great to watch both of them. Andreea uses a trick to open the eye more on her no makeup video. I love this little extra.
THIS is a "no make up" make up! I have seen tons of videos and those girls always call their videos "no make up make up" and then they have a full face of foundation, brown smokey eyes, contour and super defined brows.. Of course you are a Pro and you know what you are talking about
This is perfect for me. Makeup trends today are so heavy handed. I don't want to look like that. Since I'm not good at applying makeup anyway, this is definitely something I can handle.

There are many talented makeup artists on RU-vid, but most of them don't know how to give a lovely "no makeup makeup look"; you do it wonderfully. Using 5-6 eye shadows, contouring/bronzing, blush, highlight and winged liner for an everyday look is absolutely ridiculous. So thank you, Lisa, for keeping it real. You're lovely and quite talented. I've been obsessed with your channel lately I absolutely love the minimum make up looks and I think they're simple but effective. I watch a lot of videos and most make-up artists always go for an intense look with all the highlighting, contouring and eye shadow etc and it's very refreshing to see simple looks like this.
Yes! Not dissing on anyone but I'm truly convinced that the heavy contouring/strobing, strong eyebrows basically the Kylie Jenner look that is so in right now, is something that we will look back at some few years (not decades) from now and cringe at. But this style that Lisa does is timeless, elegant and flattering on everyone no matter what.
Phoebe Conanan exactly. I especially hate the heavy concealer/highlighting technique under the eye I think it looks tacky. Lisa on the other hand enhances features rather than covering or changing them, but hey if that's the look people are going for and like then good for them.

The actress I blogged about who inspired this video was Gemma Arterton who has dark hair (as do I). You can tweak the tones to suit different skin but it suits everyone x

Wow. That ACTUALLY looks like she has no make-up. Usually what people do for "No Makeup" looks are totally overboard. Like they do contouring, thick eyeliner, & all that shabang & I'm like... "That definitely looks like you're wearing make-up..."

This is how I always do my makeup. I think the other stuff is if you want a more stylized symbolic look. I just like to look like myself, only without allergy eyes etc. :)
In different videos she resembles different people lol. Yes in this video I see Natalie, in a different she resembles Angelina Jolie but only in the thumbnail lol. But in A LOT of the natural looks she does, I think she looks like Natalie Portman specifically fro the movie The Other Boleyn Girl.
What I really love about this is how timeless this look is. She did this 4 years ago, and it is still perfect for right now! What is killing me is finding out WHAT color has been substituted for the Bobbi Brown pink truffle pot rouge. Anyone know? (I looked on the interwebs, and can't find it.)
The one and only valuable "no makeup" makeup video is the one you made, Lisa. You're the only one who really give tips and fundamentals on how to perfectly achieve this look. Happened to finally watch a video that I had bookmarked to watch one day "Makeup for Older Women" which features you as the makeup artist. Oh so glad that I finally watched this video because I truly love your technique in general, less is more for me. Have always enjoyed the art in applying makeup but just found myself to be my own worse critic. You have helped me see a way to smooth out the imperfections while enhancing the rosy English complexion I still possess. You are truly beautiful and a gifted artist. When I was young, I went to a summer camp that didn't allow makeup. This was fine until I hit my most awkward teen years, and a few of the girls were with me trying to find any way to sneak something to neutralize our enraged, hormonal faces! The first time I saw this tutorial it gave me a flashback to that time, and I've found it to be a helpful way to test my progress along the way--- if you were somewhere where makeup wasn't allowed (but you were not always a follower of rules) could you get away with the makeup you DID put on? Could you pass for not wearing makeup?
I am 22 years old and work as a waitress. I love makeup but after a long day of running around I find my makeup starts to melt away and look too obvious. Your videos are an amazing reminder that you do not need to pile on makeup to achieve a flawless look. I have watched many of your videos but seem to come back to this one. This, for me is one of the best make up tutorial EVER. I have used this tutorial time and time again on myself and others, and have always got compliments. Lisa is amazing and her tutorials are so easy to follow, they take the "fear" out if applying make up and helps one to utilise what's already in the Make up kit. I have learnt so much, I'm just hoping she'll open a beauty school!

I've finally found a real 'no make-up' /natural look that really look like there's no make up at all. Other tutorials include putting on too much eye liner or eye shadow that it didn't look natural in the end. Thanks! :)
