Just heard this today on Boom radio, I’d completely forgot about it, why? It’s brilliant, why oh why wasn’t this a smash and Bernie amazing.

Linda starts then Bernie takes over with her powerful belt, very underrated tune.

LOVE your review! Do you not think this kinda has a similar flavour to Harold Melvin and the blue notes If you don't know me by now? I lOVE The Nolans and they were really terriffic live in concert too when I saw them 10 years ago. Bernie(short blonde hair) sadly passed away a few years ago, she had THE most powerful voice. The single didnt do too well but has always been a fan favourite. Their next single In the mood for dancing is like a classic Disco floor filler over here that you'll still here in bars, pubs and clubs as well as weddings and Birthday parties to this day. The line up changed a around the singles release with Anne leaving and younger sister Colleen taking over. The line up was usuall;y 4/5 sisters but dropped to 3 in the late 80s and then back to 4 with Anne rejoining the group. You should watch THE NOLANS GO CRUISING documentary series, which was about them reforming one more time after Bernie passed away on a cruise liner. I think its up on here. They're a really fun family to watch and make great tv. :-) You wanna listen and maybe do a review of Bernie's version of STOP by Sam Brown. its fantastic! Love the channel.
