It is time the the lay people become outspoken about the Orthodox Church's participation in any of these ecumenical circles. Talk to your priest and write yo your bishop. The Twelve Apostles did not participate in ecumenical dialogue with the pagan population. They had one mission , and that was to teach all nation and to baptize them. That should be the mission of the Orthodox Church.

gregory of denver genuine orthodox church has a video on ecumenism that identifies patriarch demetrios as mason together with at least four predecessors while peter heers video on ecumenism identifies two germanos /one patriarch and one first metropolitan of thyateira london/ as both being masons/humanist/ecumenists

"He cannot have God as father, who has not the Church as his mother." Sorry dude, this was a teaching of the Bishop St Cyprian of Carthage from the 3rd century (251 AD) & found in the homily "On the Unity of the Church." The 3rd century was pre-pope & during the era of Christian history in which the Emperors were putting Christians to death. Christianity was legalized under St Constantine the Great in 313 AD (4th cent). The papacy originated in 1054 AD. Cyprian's teaching is TRUE ORTHODOXY.

Idolatry? How so? Orthodox is catholic? No. The Orthodox Church is THE Church. The catholic church fell away from THE Church a thousand years ago. They're in schism and heresy. The protestants are mere splinter reactions against the schismatic and heretical catholic church. Just as the RCC has an infallible pope, every protestant is his own infallible pope when he clings to the heresy of "sola scriptura" & his private Biblical exegesis. RCC & protestants are two sides of the same coin.

St Ignatious of Antioch said in his letters that the Christ's followers (Christians) were everywhere (Catholic)... (This vid is a product of V2 unfortunately.) What's your feelings on Fatima as an Orthodox? Do you say that a Catholic Church does not have a valid Eucharist? Does Orthodox have Eucharist? Do you have devotion to Mary?

That’s the Vatican for you, isn’t it? Ever vacillating from 1.liberalizing itself into some kind of Roman-rite Unitarian-universalism to 2. Getting all narrowLy legalistic and thus giving the protestants and atheists the *exact* straw man they need..! This video is the perfect portrayal of the former. These are exactly the two tendencies that made me leave it, and I pray daily that my family walks away from that wreck to find Orthodoxy as I did.

flee idolatry orthodox or other wise. why are you surprised? the orthodox church is the eastern leg of the (catholic Church) oh saints look to JESUS the author and finisher of our faith. yes reprove ,rebuke ,and exhort with all longsuffering those of HIS sheep will repent those who are not will not .the love of GOD is here the wrath of GOD is coming

Rev. 17:13, "These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast." The Fourth Ecumenical Council ruled that Jesus Christ is two essences: human essence, and divine essence. You see it has nothing to do with multiple religions, as all truths agree on one point. The Jesuits wish to divide and conquer. Do not isolate yourself from the world, you have fallen but you will be forgiven by your brother. Don't turn your back on me brother.

Thanks for your offer, but, I'm thinking, IF my 1 - 5 list, didn't set your "cogs"-of-thought moving, no amount of explaining is going to help you, at this time. May I suggest you keep this list in the back of your mind & see how things play-out over the next few years. Ask yourself, HOW could someone make such a claim, & WHY would someone select THESE particular elements to be on such a list? All religions work right ? ..so what is the goal each religion ? clue: It's NOT unifying religions.

The narrator is missing the entire point of Ecumenicism, which is bigger. It is not united under a one world religion. They have their own teachings, each has it's own tradition but can unite in respect to tolerate peace between each of us. The way the Jesuits do it is incognito, to drive a stake between father and son. Once you accept that you are forgiven for your intrigue, for your deception, you will revel in your own faith. When one religion can respect another, it can stand on it's own.

There is no "new" theology in Catholocism; and anything "new" from 1958 onwards has already been condemned officially in the previous history of the Church. "I Believe in One God- The Father and The Son and The Holy Ghost...and in One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church" These two truths are clear and fundamental to all Catholics Who cannot believe in any other God or profess any other religion or any smallest point within any other religion that deviates in the slightest degree.

If any one consider and examine these things, there is no need for lengthened discussion and arguments. There is easy proof for faith in a short summary of the truth. Of course my point stands to any scrutiny. However, "answering" irrelevant nonsens is not a form of scrutiny but of stupidity and therefore may be called as what it is. It's just like when I say: "Christ promised to protect His church" and somebody of you replies: "But what about the Chinese rice bag?". It's utter irrelevant nonsens. It is bone chilling to see my Patriachate involved in such filth, But I believe Antioch has since left the world council of churches. There is no room for ecumenism is the Eastern Orthodox Church. I hate Roac/ old rocor but this is Scary
