Vauxhall Motors also had a football team based in Luton that played in the Isthmian League in the 1980s. They played at Park Street Sports Ground, part of the Vauxhall Motors Sports Complex. The club folded in 1991 when the hockey fan head of the Vauxhall Sports Club decided to change to an artificial pitch to be used for hockey. Sadly this was at the point where the club had achieved their best position in the Isthmian League, 2nd place in Division 2 North in 1990-91.
