The nordic is awesome... unreal the food there.. especially the deserts after... it's the best... pricey but well worth it...

Amazing place. Worth every penny and then some. I have been a Chef for 32 years and this place blows the doors off any place I’ve ever seen. I thought the staff would get in your way and try to slow you down in every way possible to limit consumption. Quite the opposite actually. No games , no ploys, just amazing hospitality. To Hell with Disney folks, the Nordic Lodge is the happiest place on Earth bar none.

$100 for a great meal, peaceful atmosphere and very well trained staff yes please.

My fiancé and I saw the purple and black Phantom Gourmet car on Sunday when we came (drove in from MD). I was wondering if another segment was being filmed. This place is worth every penny. It’s ran like a well oiled machine by well trained helpful and polite individuals. He’s right, it’s a total experience. We spent well beyond the two hours here dining. Just the best buffet experience hands down. We’ve decided to make it a once a year date.

I would like to take credit for the two hour limit. Back in the 80’s my friends and l would go and eat till we were almost comatose. Then hang out till we got hungry again. Lol.

$125 for the buffet is still cheaper than Nusr-et. The two hour time limit is no problem. If you can eat longer than two hours you need a psychologist and not a buffet.

The companies that I worked for brought us there every year. It is an awesome event!!

Was there several times in the late 70s and early 80s when it was Custy's located in North Kingston. Haven't been to the Nordic yet but plan to at some point in the future. I wonder if it's the same family that ran Custys?

The best buffet anywhere

it used to be called The Nordic Lodge. i miss the food back there. Twin Oaks, Cafe Itri, The Big Cheese, & Campanella's were a few of my all time favorites.

The time limit gives me anxiety. *I'm not an anxious person.* Super dark driving away to get out and the GPS and phones struggle for a signal.

A buffet would be nice,especially if space time and good organisations is of concern.

I have been here at least ten times in my life. Each time I go back is better than the last. After you eat here, every other buffet, including those on the best cruise ships, will pale in comparison. That is the only bad part about eating here. All other buffets will be a HUGE disappointment afterward. It is quite simply the VERY best that this planet has to offer as far as buffets are concerned. You will need a good road map though. If you are coming from Connecticut, you will find yourself making turns that are sometimes frustrating. The roads getting there are VERY tricky. Once you find it though, you will thank your lucky stars. When I first started going, the price was around $40.00/person. Now, it is over $100.00/person and it is WELL worth it. I have never heard of even ONE person complain about the price though. You will see why after you go.

I remember years back when it was like $75 that was totally worth it, even the $100 now is worth it. Last time me and my buddy went and got all stoned in the parking lot then ate our asses off for 2 hours.... I could barely move on the way home I was like food drunk

Lobster buffet. unlimited lobster for Two hours. price is about $100. Lobster is overcooked, desserts are not made by them selves. so.... My opinion of this restaurant is 3.5/5 I just don't like over cooked lobster. the lobster texture is like rubber. what do you expect? it is lobster buffet. you can eat unlimited over cooked lobsters for two hours.
