Okay so Guess Monster isn’t tooooo bad but that character design though 🫣 I thought we were going to get more of Noya but that does not seem to be the case. I didn’t think we'd be revisiting Tsukki’s character development but honestly I have no complaints 🔥
My first time reaction to ONE OF THE MOST POPULAR sport anime of all time HAIKYUU!! I’ve never cheered for a sport ever in my life yet Haikyuu!! was able to pull that out of me 🏐🔥 Follow me as I continue to discover the hype of a sport anime and immerse myself in this thrilling story of players striving for greatness. Here is my first time reaction to Haikyuu!! Season 3 Episode 3.

The time you jump to block matters. If you jump too soon, you will fall down before the hitter hit the ball. When Tsuki said let him set the timing, he wants them to wait until he tell them to jump so that the time they jump would be the ideal time to block, and not have everyone jump at different time.

If they jump at different time, Ushiwaka can just aim at whoever is falling already. If they all jump at the right time, Ushiwaka will have no choice but to aim at the open area if he doesn't want to get block, in which the open area is guarded by Noya.

- In a way, the Guess Monster and Tsukki have similar skills, also similar is Kenma - they use Observational awareness and strategizing, although I think that Tsukki and Kenma are better at it than the Guess Monster, because both of them are always calm and calculating, and so can stay very focused, which is probably the reason why Tsukki said the delay timing thing worked against Hinata, because Hinata gets so worked up and emotional he is all energy and power it's not as easy for him to stop and focus, but Tsukki is a really cold calculating guy, analyzing rapidly his situation. That is also why he told Tobio that he wanted more flexibility in his options in an earlier episode; when receiving a set, at the last second he may make a sudden different play than he may have originally planned.

That first tendo scene is pretty real. David Lee some great stuff blocks against russia in 2008 olympics to advance to the finals. a wipe i when the player basically goes for a one hand joust kinda and pushes the ball out of bounds against the block a soft block is when they do the plate thing so that it goes up high, usually done by shorter players some of it is unrealistic but most of it is prety realistic. Funneling the ball is true, in the womens VNL the brazilian hitter and japanese were going at it in the semi finals. timing is super important, france got insane blocks on Japans best hitter to win the finals. that play to close the line at the end of the set in ep 9 ( i checked your patreon lol) is pretty fairytale way of it happening

My favorite in Shiratorizawa is Goshiki's bangs! cute hair 🤣 (aside from that lol) Ushijima-san is just powerful and he is my favorite in this team! Also! if you ever want to know more about the strategy thinking I guess you could watch some voleyball players and coaches reacting to haikyuu, because volley is a really fast sport the players are really thinking as fast as they can. There is Sarah Pavan from Canada, there are some clips from Erik Shoji from USA and Kim Yeon-kyung’ from Korea.

Tendo is on my personal top 3 characters on Haikyuu - he is someway the masterpiece, since the previous opera this mangaka made (that made him famous) was a horror manga, the creepy behaviour and appearance of Satori for me is for "celebrating" this. AND he is awesome on what he does, his skill and athletics are top level

Ushijima is my favorite from Shiratorizawa, hands down! His power, ability and attitute, being so direct and honest probably not good at social cues makes him likeable and funny.
