Try to buy the ones made in Nicaragua. They are $25 more but worth it. The Apex Bionic Jackets made in China and Indonesia are for the outlet / online stores. I heard this directly from a former North Face employee.

Also, about the size. A thermoball jacket fits me in M size, would you say a tall L size woudl fit me? I see they offer a tall version of this jacket but the smallest tall size version is L.
