The North Pennines - Blanchland and the Carriers Way 

A hike in some of the most picturesque scenery of the North Pennines. It starts at Blanchland before heading up to Pennypie House when we eventually join the Carriers Way. Continuing along the Carriers Way for much of its length we eventually reach Riddlehamhope where an old village was once situated. Then follows a slow hike back to the starting point via Newbiggin and Baybridge.
Route Taken :- Blanchland - Pennypie House - Blanchland Moor - Actoncleugh Head - Embleyburn Head - Carriers Way - Blackburn Head - Carriers Way - Riddlehamhope - Newbiggin - Baybridge - Blanchland
