Apparently this is similar to a venture bros bit and yeah it’s definitely been done haha. I usually search up whatever joke i’m doing with family guy, robot chicken, etc to check ahead of time but i’ve never watched Venture Bros so my b. Sorry if i’m slowly becoming a hack
You might like Venture Bros, but there might be some things that didn’t age well, such as jokes in earlier seasons about people not wanting to sleep with a character because they think she’s trans, so if you do watch it just keep that in mind.

@@cunnyman no heroes with regenerative abilities where immune to the rotting, in the comic reed does state holding himself together requires a lot of brain activity he could be using to create a cure. Which is why he blobbed. The disease doesn’t melt, it just rots ur body party’s one by one
Definitely. The fact that they're genuinely concerned about him to the point of saying, "bro, we aren't gonna look down on you for not using your frankly terrible superpower" while his pride makes him insist he's fine... There's an extremely human element to the skit that makes it hilarious.
Funnily enough, this is why The Thing is so miserable, but also why Johnny was replaced by a robot in one cartoon, censors thought kids would set themselves on fire.
That's actually a myth. The real reason they didn't put Johnny in was because they were going to make a Human Torch movie but it never caught on. If anyone is curious on the in-universe reason why Johnny isn't in, it's because the Fantastic Four had to sign likelinesses to be able to be used but Johnny wasn't there, so he had to be replaced with H.E.R.B.I.E.
Making a sandwich in a 70's cartoon like "I'm slicing this bread with an appropiately sharpened kitchen knife. I will now add a layer of cheese, salad and ham, and to finish the plate I will cut away the crust and separate the final result into two triangular halves. What a nice sandwich! @@jackmcmorrow9397 Actually he's probably the cleanest character in the comics, most germs and bacteria are incapable of surviving extreme temperatures so in a way he's got a natural immunity against diseases. He pretty much doesn't need to bathe to keep himself clean.

I think the venture bros did a similar joke where a human torch parody would burst into flames whenever contacted with air and thusly would never stop screaming.
@@wingedfish1175 And the Thing parody had like 3 inch thick skin and a mental handicap. Richard, the Mr. Fantastic parody, was the only one to benefit from his powers, but he’s an asshole.
This was unironically the best part of Fant4Stic, the powers being less of a gift and more of a body horror curse. Would like to see that avenue explored with superhero films again.

When he transforms he's pretty much living fire, very few things can actually hurt him let alone him himself, he saves water and other necessities as well seeing how his powers burn and kill germs on his body so he doesn't need to shower, brush his teeth and maybe just maybe.... Not have to use the bathroom as much

He feels no pain from this because when he transforms, his whole body is fire. Basically he's virtually invulnerable and immune from pain in his flame form. He can even pass solid from his body because when he's in flame form his body is no longer solid.
Well there's a saying fire beats fire.... Also water in this case.... and a gun since he's human still.... a lot of things beat fire, human torch really got the short end of the rapidly burning stick
@@RadicalGarry I mean there's heating and melting certain things, he can fly with it and clean himself 24/7 just by turning it on and off but if it's strictly fire I'm sure there's enough things you can use it in, just gotta get creative

@@historyweeb No, his whole body transforms into plasma. It's not an outer shell. Originally since Stan Lee's grasp of science was tenuous at best it was unclear if he was flesh under there (although his flight makes no sense if he is), but by the 1970s they had made it clear that he's not. Now the original human torch (the android from WWII who has nothing to do with the FF), HE had to melt the bullets before they penetrated because he was still solid under an outer shell of fire.

To think all of this voice raw talent in comedy and voice acting are wasted for small skits on RU-vid. This is the kind of shit we should get in cinema
ProZD was just a guy making skits on Vine and voicing comics for a while, but then he established his career as a voice actor with countless roles. Who knows? Perhaps the future will see Solid JJ becoming something more than he is now.

You should do a death note skit where L has a degree in psychology and instantly sees all the signs of a serial killer in Light yagama, ending death note instantly.
That doesn't make much sense. L knew pretty much right off the bat that Light was Kira, he was merely trying to prove that to others beyond a shadow of doubt.
Venture Brothers had a really great joke like this too, it’s funny to me to think of Johnny Storm being in constant agony while using his powers and it not at all being fun.
I was expecting all of them to have some kind of difficulties like not being able to see because light passes trough you instead of going into your eyes when invisible.
The poor guy went from goofy colorful superhero to an emo dude wore the suit with a tons of spikes on him that represents the victims who died in the explosion (and then back to being goofy colorful superhero again)

I have a distinct memory of some show having a character with essentially this problem. (Think it was agents of shield) where he could light himself on fire but he wasn’t fire resistant. It was horrifying
