The fact that this song, You’re Nobody til Somebody Kills You, was the last song on his last album, Life After Death…released a couple of weeks after he was killed. Chills.
@@NimphoYes, it was bro. you may prefer someone or even think it's better, but no one was more complete than Biggie. he had everything and his delivery was also impressive. no one was more complete, not pac, not nas, not jay much less em.
Nothin better than driving down the road late night alone light rain feeling faded gripping the steerling wheel one handed with this song loud staring off into the night sky... memories 98'
@@cassandraclark5499he wasn’t biting nothing you can’t name one artist from the 90s that sound like biggie and vise versa. Was he influenced by others rappers? Ofc every rapper is influenced by someone that’s how it works. You takes bits and pieces and make it your own.
its a hot line for sure, but nicky tarantino is not the name of pescis character from casino, it was nicky santoro. artistic liberties aside, still a great line. tarantino was making fire movies then too.
The older I get the more I appreciate Biggie and Pac as the genius they were. The highest of highs and lowest of lows growing up in the environments they did. Preordained. They never had an option to get out. Their destiny was sealed.
This is my favorite song of Biggies. His flow, delivery and voice over this mafioso style classic instrumental was so grimey and fits his crime kingpin/mafioso boss persona that he used a lot of in the second half of his career. I loved the singing of the hook. "Hope you creeps got receipts, my peeps get dirty like cleats, run up in your crib wrap you in your polo sheets, six up in your wig piece, nigga deceased, muah, may you rest in peace" My goodness, Biggie was one of the nastiest ever.
This song alone separates B.I.G. from the rest of his peers back then. B.I.G. Flowed on this beat effortlessly with all intentions to create an audio movie. This album is a part of history, he should be held in higher regard for someone who only released 2 complete albums. We can’t forget that he was ghost writing in the same breath which is crazy when you think about. He had enough intellectual property for everyone in his circle. There will NEVER be another to grace this world that can compare to him. 🤲🏾 #GOAT
Are you 2 cafones high on crack? JayZ only exists bc of BIG. He's a poor man's Biggie and a trash sellout. Rakim wasn't this smooth. Nas doesn't beat Big but is close and that's a huge compliment.
I hope BIG and Pac are in heaven being young forever, free and see the love they're getting to 30 years later. Music lives forever and so will you. Rest in peace Brothers.
Not god given talent,he used to rap since a teenager.stop lying to urself,u can do what he did too..takes 10k hours to become an expert in any field, most can’t endure..
Imma LA nigga to the bone. And my favorite rapper is BIG. Had a west side LA nigga feeling like he was from bedstuy lol continue to get ya rest big homie 🫡
Love from Brooklyn...He is the GOAT about time we got a L.A. nikka that tells the truth.I know there a lot of L.A. nikkas that fuck with BIG but don't admit it.Thanks for putting that out there.#Kingscounty
Biggie and Pac were the greatest to ever do it pac rapped about the ghetto and struggles and biggie rapped about the life that can be lived outside of the ghetto both men were great
Leave pac out man this a biggie song and how’s biggie talking about outside the hood when this song clearly stating what goes on in the hood smh foh fuck pac
Puffy reciting the Lord's Prayer @ the intro is theee BIGGEST HYPOCRISY for a DEMON. 😈 Rest in LOVE Legend. We still miss you B. 💔 and we're here, still listening 2 U. 🌹
Everyone know this song was directed at Pac after he passed and it got Biggie killed! He was basically dancing on Pacs grave by rapping verses of this song on a radio show in LA and a few days later he was gunned down.
This song was bigs swan song he knew had a bag on his head 💰 And the green light was lit 🔥 Give him all the respect in the world 🌎 he still went out to California despite what had happened 6 months earlier. Big was about that life, part of the reason why he will always be the king of New York 👑
Biggie's flow was and is remarkable incredible storytelling picture everything he says like a film R.I.P Biggie and 2Pac both rap kings! Still bumping this in 2022 lol
This classic gives me nothing but chills and even though this was the end, the loss of Biggie was still bothering me when this track gets played but regardless this album is a remembrance of the king and Brooklyn's finest!!! BIG FOREVER 🕊🕊🎤👑
I honestly came here after reading the recent Rolling Stone article about Sean Combs and the fact that Biggie and him had a falling out plus he wanted to get out of his Bad Boy deal. This song was the first thing I thought about.
The man did with only two albums, with only one being released fully before his death, what many musicians could only dream to have done in a lifetime of work. Walk free, Mr. Wallace. No longer can you be hurt.
I love what you said, it gave me the same chills that the song gives me... Walk free, you can no longer be hurt❤thank you, I'm gonna remember that, not just for biggie, but others too. It's comforting❤❤❤
In retrospect, it's pretty wicked how so many of his songs are about death or the anticipation of it. Understandable considering how the rap scene can be. Biggie's words ring true for many, not just singers.
They said this prayer at my grandmas funeral and all I could think of was this song. And as soon as they said dwell in house of lord forever the music just started playing in my head.
